Cateco Odour Eliminating Litter Box - Complete Starter Kit (Includes 10 Dry Pads and 1 Noba Scoop) Gray

Even though I'm very OCD about cleaning, our laundry room always smelled a bit like cat which I couldn't stand. I tried all types of sprinkles, cleaning the litter box twice a day, baking soda etc.. and nothing worked. It was driving me crazy. I called our friend who is a Vet and asked what type of litter box to buy and if the really expensive ones were worth the money and he said no. Well, I found this one on Amazon and OMG, it WORKS! I have walked into my laundry room several times within the last couple of days and it smells like laundry and NOT cats. With that said, take my advise and buy this product. You'll be glad you did. Side note- I don't really leave reviews but I felt I had to with this because I was so impressed with it.

I bought two of these for my two cats one senior and one junior....overall my cats like it and I feel it protects against the standing pee boys lol. I don’t know if it’s feasible but a charcoal filter or a deodorizer added to the pee pad might help? The pad might not be totally saturated but the smell still sneaks out the tray ventilation holes....I flip the pads about every 10 days to get more usage from the pads. Overall, probably the best design I have had that still uses regular clumping litter AND contains pretty good odor containment up to 7 days with no extra attention, just every other day scooping. I like it a lot and the cats like it so far it’s a win win!

I love the design and the height extenders are perfect, really helps keep the cat litter inside the box instead of all over my floor. Easily accessible to clean.In the mats that go underneath what a great idea catches that excess urine instead of floating around inside the box. This definitely is a product I will be recommending. Also wanted to add that we love the inside of the box that the litter box came in they have cute little cut outs for doorways and windows for your kitty to playing :-)

To be honest, I thought this product would not work. Why would it? Its an open litter box, right? WRONG! This litter box really WORKS when it comes to smells!!!We originally had a traditional dome litter box with a lid/cover. We cleaned it throughout the day and it still stunk all the time. I read the reviews on the Noba Cateco litter box and took a chance—I am so glad I did. It's a game-changer when it comes to cat care. I recommend this box it anyone seeking a cleaner alternative to a traditional litter box.

I have three cats, and litterbox management is always an issue. I follow recommendations and have one more litter box than cats, and I've experimented a lot with litter types. Over time, I've found that they seem to prefer the silica type of litter. The problem is that, even with multiple litter boxes spread around the house, the group sometimes seems to prefer one litter box (though which one it is changes over time). Silica litter is great, but if there's too much liquid in there, it doesn't matter how often I scoop and stir, it just turns into a slush. I was busy thinking about how I might fabricate a litter box that drained when I did one final search and found the Cateco. This thing totally solved my problems. I scoop and stir daily, and I check the pad and change when needed (the first time around, I waited four days to check the pad, and I had 1/2" of liquid in the bottom, which then sloshed all over, so I do check it daily). Everyone is happy and the litter lasts. If you've had the type of problems I've had with silica litter, try this litter box out!!

I don’t understand the great reviews. I have never smelled my cat box before. Now it’s all I smell. When I remove the pad it’s soaking wet underneath causing a mess I have to clean up. I’ve had this for a week and changed the pads three times. I only have one cat.

What I do not like about this littler box is that it does not help with odor control . The only reason for purchase is because my old littler box was too small for my two cats . The other littler box is the house does better than this one . I had to replace liners twice a week or else the pee will leak and make it smell worse . My younger cat makes a mess getting out of it . I would not recommend for multiple cats .

The litter box has some great qualities. It really does reduce odors and the clumps are drier so they don't stick to the bottom. So no scrapping. The bottom tray that holds the pad does not fit securely. It just kinda sits on top. That bothers me cause when I move the box it comes apart. Also the liners could be a bit thicker and have a part where you grip to take out. Instead of feeling like you are grabbing something yucky. I feel like the price is a little high for this product. But I would buy again and hope they improve it over time.
