Great addition to my JK! Needs better tape though…
These were easy to install and adds a little more flair to my JK. My only gripe is the tape was not strong enough to stick to my truck so I ordered 3M double sided tape and that did the trick.Advice for installation: These need to go on a certain way so line them up prior to putting them on your Jeep!

Why Gloss Black ?
I have previously purchased and installed the Hooke Road Grill Inserts and Headlight Rings, both flat Black and look great. So I saw, purchased and received today the Turn Signal Rings but they are GLOSS BLACK. I set them both into the Turn Signal lens and they stick out like a sore thumb. If they were Flat Black they would have been perfect. Since there are very few of these to pick from I will prepare the surface and spray them a Flat Black paint.

Wouldn’t fit
I have after market turn signals and they wouldn’t work for me.

They look great, but the adhesion is a bit lacking
They look great, but I would recommend some extra double sided tape on the back of them for some extra hold.

Good look, problematic install
A bit more glossy black than grill inserts and headlight bezel inserts I bought, but not a problem. Not really noticeable to bystanders anyway.They look good, but the problem is with the install. The double-sided adhesive (not 3M) is too far recessed behind a lip in the bezels and it doesn't make contact with the Jeep's grill. I had to install with Goop auto adhesive that I had on hand.

Finish doesn’t match headlight trim!
Worked well but the finish of the turn signal parts do not match the finish of the headlight parts. The turn signal parts are a smooth shiny finish and the headlights are a dull matte finish. There was no option for a finish on the turn signal covers so I ended up lightly sand blazing them.

Wrong surface finish
Unfortunately I have to return this item. I assumed that since the other grill parts I ordered from Hooke were matte black that this item would be the same. Turns out it’s gloss black and did not look right against the matte black trim items. Definitely would have installed them if they would have been matte.

They must be positioned properly.
They look good once you get them adhered in the properposition, after adding an other layer of 3M tape.

Do not like the gloss finish because it did not match the mat finish with all other options I had ordered.

Easy and looks good !
Easy to put on ,Just peel the protective cover off the tape and stick on. That easy.
