Amazing machine
The 2T set up quickly and was super easy to pair with all my devices (Apple TV, iPhone, iPad). In fact, I don't remember having to do much at all to pair, it seemed to just "happen". One thing to remember is that the 2T via Bluetooth can only pair with one thing at a time. But once you are set up, have your Zwift tuned in, and plug in the 2T, it grabs on instantly. My bike has discs with through axles and all the adapters worked well. This is a joy to ride, and very fun. Having it freewheel while descending is spooky cool. Plus the jitter you get through the pedals when going over cobble (on Zwift) is fun. The reason for purchasing this trainer (direct drive, and the 2T) is to keep from getting bored -- I was worried about stationary riding being the same as spinning in a gym. But this is not boring at all. And its an amazing workout -- I feel like I really am TRAINING. Highly recommended, no reservations whatsoever. And this vendor is responsive and good to deal with.

As good as it gets!!
Met all expectations, great product and great bundle!!!The Tacx Neo 2T is, by far, if not the best, one the best power trainers today.

Perfect trainer.
The only issue: it came with an 11-gear cassette and I needed a 9. Other than that, I LOVE it so much.

Works well with Rouvy
Most liked: ease of use and setup, quieter than Wahoo KICKR.

Best indoor trainer
Received it much sooner than anticipated from the seller. Everything was great, except that the cassette was missing a spacer, so I had to have a bike mechanic come and fix it.The trainer itself is AMAZING!!

Good machine but horrid documentation
The TacX Neo 2T was for me a replacement for my former TacX TT4 system trainer. The improvements were most remarkable. Specifically: 1. The user interface is much improved. 2. The program crashes much less frequently, 3. It continues to offer fantastic training that simulates real-life situations quite closely. 4. I appreciate that I don't need to use the bicycle rear wheel with its special training tire. The problems with the TacX Neo 2T are many. 1. The program still crashes frequently, and there's nothing you can do about it. 2. The assembly instructions are absolutely horrid. Assembly of the unit is often just plain wrong. Clearly the people that wrote the assembly manual had no clue as to the product. Not noted is that you may have to completely re-tune your bicycle derailleurs (yourself) in order to make the shifting function like it should. 3. Instructions for the software are near absent. This has always been typical of TacX but now far more so. Determining how to configure your software is something that you must do hit and miss, as there is no manual to explain what everything means. 3. You are now forced to a subscription system. True, it's not terribly expensive, but still, in order to use the trainer, it is approximately 10 euros per month. 4. You might have purchased many videos for the older trainers. Those are worthless in that they are incompatible with the new system, and they are not maintaining the older TT4 system. Thus, they go in the garbage. Sadly, TacX has not upgraded those rides. 5. The trainer simulates real life but now feels a bit harder to pedal on both the level and on climbs, compared to real life. I could adjust the percent work down from 100% but that just doesn't feel right. There is no way that I know of to calibrate the system to real life. 6. The GPS rides are stupid and a bad excuse for TacX not filming those rides. They used to use Google street view (for a subscription), but now they just use the satellite view, which is not exactly a "virtual reality" ride. In addition, TacX has no filmed rides for the USA. That is inexcusable.I would recommend the TacX trainer with a guarded "yes". It's the best out there and in a rainy environment like the Northwest, it provides a fair bicycle alternate. This is a sad statement because TacX could improve their product with minimal effort.

Very expensive, not very accurate.
They claim a +/- 1% accuracy, and I'm seeing +/- 10%, or more.Garmin told me not to use ERG mode for training, which is preposterous! So now when I ride in Zwift workouts, or TrainerRoad, I see that I am over almost consistently on every interval. I compared the power to my Stages power meter, and it's off throughout the entire ride. I can't post the image, or I would so people could see it.I'm disappointed that it's so far off. I called Garmin again, and they told me 'it's accurate to itself', and there would be expected differences when measuring from two different devices, but they are reading essentially the same thing. I'm sure that the Coronavirus mess is adding to their reticence to deal with it to some level, but they basically blew me off cold.If you want accuracy, avoid this really expensive machine. One good thing, it's really quiet.
