I bought this item to help me recover from a total knee replacement. I wish I had known about this type of device when I had my first knee replacement! I would say it has helped me control the swelling.It is easy to use and a very good value for the money. It is a bit noisy but that is to be expected as it works to compress the sleeve and move the chilled water. You can control the level of compression. I took the advice of others and use a couple of partially filled frozen plastic water bottles instead of ice to keep the water cold. The frozen water bottles make it super simple to swap out. The cooler stays cold all day.

Awesome product, did not know this existed until my sister-in-law told me about it! These units used to cost over $200 and now we can grab for $89! Great way to stay iced down every two hours while healing a broken kneecap!!!!

I must admit I was skeptical when I ordered this product. I didn’t think, for the price offered, it would deliver what it promised. When it arrived, I was equally skeptical. Before assembly it resembled an old-fashioned drink cooler,However, when fully assembled and put to use, this cryo/compression unit delivered as promised! The wrap stayed ice cold for at least 8 hours and compressed for the time I set. I have been using it every day since my knee surgery three weeks ago. I would have given it a five star rating except for the fact you must hold it above shoulder height for 30 seconds to insure the water starts to flow into the wrap. Depending on your injury and mobility this could be a problem if you are alone. However, as I mentioned previously, this unit is a bargain and I would not hesitate to purchase it again.

I had the tendon in my elbow reattached and got this a could days later. When my arm was braced I couldn't feel the cold but the compression helped ease the pain. After I got the brace off, man this thing keeps the water cold. I froze 2 water bottles and put them in with the water. It keeps cold for several days (might be different in the summer) before I need to change the frozen bottles. I use the compression about 20 minutes several times a day, especially when I first get up in the morning or have done exercises.

I purchased this machine for my acl surgery. I had previously had the cryo brand and worked really well. Fast forward 20+ yrs - I tore my other ACL. Purchased this since a little cheaper and it’s true - you get what you pay for. The cooler does not keep the water and ice cold. The ice pack sometimes overfills - and no, I do not have it overfilled or elevated too much/too low. Not as good of a product as I had hoped. I ordered the brand name cryo and hoping to revive today/tomorrow.

I ordered this after I had a knee replacement. It’s a little hard to set up if you aren’t very mobile, like using a walker after the surgery. But with a spare set of good hands, it can be filled, moved to the patient, and the pad put in place on the leg (for knee replacement), it’s easy to understand, and it’s very effective. The water stays cold, and you can control how often the pump circulates the water. Worth the price. Definitely a good product as long as someone is there to help carry all of the parts of the machine.

I purchased on recommendation. The instructions where not clear but eventually (read & reread) I understood. Did keep water cold as worked as noted.But I do NOT like that you need to have the unit above you. And do NOT like the noise.

So far it's been great! Love it. Super cold.
