Edited to add: I just purchased my third bottle of this and I still love it! There is absolutely zero scent! To people complaining it is greasy... it’s quite literally a bottle of squalane, which is oil! It is going to feel oily. It absorbs so well and very quickly. I have crazy acne prone skin and it’s also reactive to most products. I couldn’t find a vitamin c serum for YEARS that I didn’t react to, until this one. I now use beauty jam vit c, Hyaluronic acid serum, moisturizer, and spot treatment. I was introduced to them through the vine program, but now I continue to purchase with my own money. Their products are amazing!I love beauty jam products. I’ve been searching for a “clean” vitamin c serum forever that doesn’t have a ton of filler ingredients. I already use squalane daily and considered making my own C serum until I saw this one. The simple ingredients are perfect!!! I love how it feels and it doesn’t aggravate my skin. Well done again beauty jam!!!

At just at twenty bucks this was going to have to wow me to get 5 stars. And while it did work, it mostly only worked on the lighter colored "dark spots" I have on my arms.I wanted to have a check for it so far two weeks I used it only on one arm since both were so close to the same damaged I couldn't tell the difference. The arm I used it on does have somewhat lighter spots, but only the spots that were lighter to begin with. The darker spots are still as dark as ever, but now look actually darker since the ones next to it are now lighter.It doesn't really smell at all, and moisturized fairly well without being greasy at all. All really good points, just not enough to encourage me to purchase it in the future.It gets 4 stars for actually working, but for the cost and the fact that I have some serious doubts that it is ever going to work on the really dark spots, it doesn't get more.

This vitamin C serum is a powerful brightener. It's ideal to care for skin with dark marks and hyperpigmentation. It also evens skin tone and helps fight the early signs of aging. My skin type is "normal", neither dry or oily and I am not prone to acne breakouts. I found this serum to be very greasy. Rather than absorbing into my skin it left my face feeling like an oil slick. Still, I was determined to give this product a fair try and applied it nightly for several weeks. I was rewarded with a forehead covered in tiny bumps (milia). Per my dermatologist this is a classic case of a heavy/oily product clogging up pores. Lesson learned.While I'm sure that not everyone will have the same reaction that I did, I'd recommend that those with oily or acne prone skin types give this product a wide berth.

I am unable to give a completely in depth review of how this performs overtime because I just received this. However, I put this on the dark areas under the eyes of my husband's and my eyes to see if it would help relieve the overall dark appearance of that area. For both of us, the serum had a subtle, yet immediate effect. the dark areas looked less dark, a little brighter, and healthier. I am only able to evaluate the short-term effects of this serum due to only having it a short period of time; however, I will aim to update this review to hit on long-term effects when I am able to accurately describe those.

Well, I know others have said that they did not find it to be greasy and quite frankly I am surprised by that because I find it to be extremely greasy. Sure it goes on easy, it feels good, and it makes your skin soft...because it's so darn greasy. I left it for about a half hour thinking "surely this will dry and feel and look less greasy" but no, it stayed shiny and oily feeling and gross and I finally just took a towel and wiped it all off. Until now I had never used a product I didn't like by this company but this one just isn't for me.
