I like this a lot. This is a good quality acne facial cleanser with good quality ingredients, and no harmful stuff. Works well, easy to use/lather. Great product. This review is for Beauty Jam Acne Cleanser, 3.4 fluid Ounce. I haven't has much luck with liking many of the beauty jam products that I have tried. This one is one of the better ones. The scent is pleasant and it has a mild citrus smell. It lathers nice when you wash your face as well. My daughter and I both have used this and we both use 2 pumps when we wash our face. It does leave your face feeling clean and doesn't leave a residue on your face like some other products from Beauty Jam do when I tried them. I don't have acne problems but my teenage daughter does and she said she this does seem to be helping her. I like that it isn't full of a ton of chemicals like some of the other acne washes. At under $12 for a 3.4oz bottle, the price is reasonable and not too expensive.

I used this for a few days and so far it has worked as well as any other salicylic acid acne treatment face wash. It seems to be holding my pimples at bay. The cleanser comes out as a more creamy soap than a gel. It lathers well but doesn't foam too much. The scent is reminiscent of something citrus-like, probably lemon. The scent is light though so people it's good for people who are bothered by strong scented soap. The Beauty Jam face wash is no frills though. Compared some competitors, there's no beads or cooling effect. In terms of cleanliness, I found myself using about 1.5 pumps for my face. It doesn't seem as strong as Neutrogena where I can use less and my skin still feeling clean. If you have really oily skin, you might want to find a stronger product.

I recommend this one for Oily Skin because it is drying. It's affordable and works. I have tried all price ranges of products for acne, my 3 daughters who all have different skin types help me with testing these products and this one works just as good as the high end one but is very affordable so for that reason it makes my *Hot Items List*, This is one to try.This item is good quality and it is very much worth the purchase. I got this for my daughter who has a fair amount of acne. She has been liking this line and likes this product as well. It has a pleasant but light scent. It is gentle on her skin but it cleans well. And, she likes the packaging - never discount the packaging appeal to a teen. Liking the packaging can be the difference between using the product and not! :)Its hard to know exactly what the reason is but her skin is definitely looking better since starting with this line. Its not completely clear, but I'll take any improvement.

This acne cleanser has the same amount of active ingredient (Salicylic Acid 2%) that a lot of other acne cleansers have, but it also has alcohol in the inactive ingredients list.This cleanser lathers nicely and has a very mild scent. The scent reminds me a little bit of the smell of original "Ivory" brand soap. I like that this cleanser doesn't have that almost medicinal smell that a lot of other acne cleansers tend to have.This cleanser rinses off well and leaves skin feeling clean, but also seemed to dry my daughter's skin more.My teen daughter has been using this cleanser for a few days now and definitely notices the drying effect on her skin. She feels like it dries her skin too much.

My 14 year old daughter, who has acne, likes using this cleanser. It effectively removes dirt, oil, and makeup from her face. Since using this, her acne has cleared up a bit. She has fewer breakouts, and it has helped reduce the oil and shine on her forehead and nose. This cleanser can be drying, so she follows with an oil free moisturizer.

Yes, indeed. The most effective products from Neutrogena and Clearasil for daily acne fighting use have the active ingredient of 2% salicylic acid. So does this beauty jam. I recommend washing with a good washcloth and replacing at least once a week. Because the active ingredients are identical, I recommend shopping by price.Start with just once a day. You’ll have more time in the evening. If not overly drying, try both morning and night. Many teens deal with lots of oil, evolving hormones, and acne challenges. With patience and an additional dedicated cleaning regimen with a washcloth, things will head in the right direction.
