I recently have gotten into doing my own nails (thanks lockdown!) and been playing with polygel, but the lamp that came with my polygel kit wasn't big enough for me or worked well enough, so I went on a hunt for an affordable but good UV lamp. I am very glad I stumbled upon this one!The lamp is great, really dries my nails quick. I especially love the fact that it automatically lights up when I insert my hand. I have also been using the lamp to cure my craft projects that I've covered in gel, works wonders! I really also loved that it came with accessories, because I've been seriously needing some cuticle cutters lol.Overall, I'm really satisfied. The lamp is lightweight but works great, is quiet and effective.

The big issue with this is the lack of instructions with regard to times but I think that is more dependent on the type of varnish you're using. I bought Kanorine gel polish and copied someone else's review advice of gently scruff nail with an emery board, apply base 30 secs, colour 1 min, second layer of colour 1 min, top coat 30 secs. It's worked brilliantly. The lamp either counts up from 1 as soon as you put your nails in, or you can set it to count down from set times. Easy as anything. I've had my gels on for 2 weeks now. One chipped off on the first day and I had to re-do it but I think this was having not scruffed up that nail enough as it has been fine after being re-done. Such a relief to be free of chippy nail varnish and just as effective as a salon set.

I like this product and all the things that come with it. It’s a nice little starter setOnly bad point is that it isn’t very strong light, doesn’t seem to set polish as well in 90 seconds as stronger lamps I’ve used.

I used to do my own full sets of acrylic then opted for press on nails as they're so much quicker to do. But with the pandemic and everything I've not gone into shops for months and the brand/styles of press on nails I usually buy are constantly out of stock. So I got this lamp and other bits and bobs to start making my own sets of gel nails. It is a good sturdy lamp that works well. I'm giving this lamp a 4 out of 5 because one thing that's missing from the box is any kind of instruction leaflet and I feel that if you've never done nails, have no understanding what's involved or simply if you need a guide for timing so you know how this lamp stacks up against others then you'll be completely lost.Features- Lightweight and has a carry handle.- Sensor so lights come on when you have your hand inside and auto turns off when you take your hand out. The sensor also detects small objects only so the curing lights inside do come on when just nail tips on lolly sticks/ nail stands are placed inside.- LED based bulbs so uses less power.- Variable timers so you have 10 secs, 30 secs and 60 secs but if you don't push the button for one of the timers, you can place your hand/nail tips inside it and it comes on anyway and will stay on for 5 mins before it auto turns itself off.- Has a "double power" mode so if you need extra intensity for a last coat (for example) you can give it a boost.- Cures gel nail polish evenly (timings will vary by brand/ thickness of coats/ number of coats so I recommend doing a sample nail).- Came with accessories advertised and the dusting brush is really good.

Really can’t find fault with this. Okay so not all the accessories are great quality but I bought this during a lightening deal mainly for the type of uv/led lamp with a good voltage after doing some research on what makes a ‘good’ lamp. I had no experience prior but found it straight forward to use and appreciated the double power option for base and top coat curing. Easy, portable, quick and cured every coat even for a novice. Would definitely recommend!

I love doing my manicure at home, but my old one broke down. So I decided to order new one but didn’t want to spend a fortune. Quick delivery and much better than I expected. It’s lightweight, easy to use and quick dry. Comes with manual which is easy to read and understand how to use. Good quality too. And the extra bits which comes with it was so good too. Different nail files, cuticules remover. I highly recommend it
