Great budget practice basket
Properly constructed with quality materials to PDGA specified dimensions, this practice basket easily breaks down for transport and erects quickly for use. Once constructed, it easily can be picked up and moved. Chains are a little on the light duty side vs Mach 2 baskets but still effective at catching putters and mid-ranges. Great value, proper 24 chain (12 outer, 12 inner) all secured with proper "S" hooks through welded eye loops so the chains don't walk (unlike cheaper baskets). The center post is in two pieces that are threaded and screw to the base frame. The top frame with the chains hang at the top of the pole, secured by a threaded top. Center poles are hallow so if playing indoors, a thin pool noodle or some gaffer's tape wrapped in strategic impact areas will quiet things down. In summary, it's a great deal. The only drawback with this purchase is there is no carry/tote bag included, although when disassembled, everything fits inside the main basket.

About what you'd expect.
The build of the thing seems about what you'd expect in a portable basket. It'll hold up to discs just fine, but don't run it over with your car. Setup and takedown are super quick, 30 seconds to a minute, and it all fits inside the big basket. The base is wide enough that it should stay where you put it even on a slight slope, and there are pegs if you want it to stay put on anything steeper. It's plenty light enough to carry around from spot to spot even set up. Make a travel bag (or make friends with somebody with a sewing machine) and it'll be perfect for schlepping down to the local park for practice. Not that it matters, but the "red" is not very red. It's a washed out dark orange. I was hoping for a red with a little more pop to it for visibility, but it'll do the job.One star deducted for the horrible packaging job from Axiom. It's just the basket in a box, no padding or packing, so the box shows up in tatters and the basket already has spots where the paint has rubbed off that I'll have to touch up before I can leave this set up in the back yard. This is not a problem with the seller or the shipper, this is Axiom's fault and they can and should do better.

No complaints at all!!
I was a little apprehensive getting a "lite" basket for practising, but this thing has exceeded my wildest expectations. Absolutely love it. Takes 3 minutes to put together, nicely balanced and very well-constructed. Now all I have to do is practice 30 minutes a day, six days a week, fifty-two weeks a year and I'll eventually not suck!

Nice looking, efficient Golf Basket
Just FYI, this thing makes a great gift if you have a disc golfer with a yard. The blue ring is shiny, the chrome chains are sparkly, and it is sturdy enough. My gift recipient 1) had her boys home for thanksgiving so they played with it, showing the grand kids how to and 2) is the in 'its still new stage' and stores in garage when not in use. Give it a couple season and it will be an attractive, function lawn ornament. Totally successful as a gift and I would not hesitate to buy again if need arose.

Great practice/private disc golf basket!
My teenage sons bought this basket, and I'm impressed with the quality of it. It's not exactly a permanent course basket, but it's WAY closer than I expected. The chains are heavy and the welds are solid. It works great for either backyard practice or setup at the park for an impromptu disc golf hole.It is a bit heavy for using as a portable if you're planning on carrying it around a lot, but my boys have no trouble relocating it several times at the park when the go.I highly recommend this disc golf basket!

Great basket
This is my second Axiom basket and I love it just as much as the first. The chains are lighter on this one as it's more of a putting basket, but I use it as a normal basket and it catches discs just fine. Light weight and easy to move around the yard. I live in the upper midwest and my baskets live outside year round through snow, rain and the humid summers and both of them are holding up nicely. Highly recommend

I would recommend to a friend
This was easy to assemble and is easy to move around the around the yard to practice with it. So far it appears sturdy and looks like it will last. I would not recommend buying this if you are thinking of packing it up and taking it camping or on a trip but for practice around the house I would recommend it.
