Cup of joe?
OK, I admit it. As a backpacking utensil this is a pure luxury and maybe totally unneeded. There are dozens of simple instant coffees out there that weigh practically nothing and take up almost no room. HOWEVER!! Are any of them really as good as real brewed coffee? Didn't think so. After all, you have to boil the water anyway so why not have REAL coffee. I keep it simple. Before I leave home I put the measured coffee into small cone filters then fold over the tops and place them in a small zip top bag.Once you are ready for coffee just put the filter in the cone and slowly pour through the water. Dispose of the grounds and old filter and there you are warming up on real coffee. Great! Why a four and not a five star? I have not had the problem but I can see where on larger mugs that the flexible base might be a problem. I would have liked to have seen the folding cone mounted to a metal or heat proof plastic base. That would have made it more sturdy when using it. Other than that I love it.

Best camp coffee method!!!!
I have tried all different manners of coffee while camping. From cowboy coffee to bringing a coffee maker to plug in the car. This pour over method is the best for me and my group when we camp. The issue I had was trying to get everyone a cup of coffee at or around the same time. We tried the French presses, aero press, percolator and even instants. They all had there issues from speed to clean up or taste. This collapsible pour over is perfect for us. We just boiled a big pot of water and after it boiled every one took a mug of water and poured it over there coffee. Within minutes of waking up everyone had coffee.I found the #2 filter with a 1/4 cup of medium ground coffee will make 4 mugs of coffee.

Purchased for backpacking but I have been using it at work
Light weight and packable. Easy to clean. I purchased it for backpacking and have been using it at work as well. This will work with traditional basket coffee filters if you fold a corner of them. Cleanup is easier than using a permanent filter and this was more packable and lighter than a French press.

Coffee for backpacking
It made a surprisingly good cup of coffee. Purchased for backpacking, my husband thought I was crazy to think it would work but after the first sip , he told me he was shocked how good it was.

BPA FREE FOR DRIP COFFEE ON THE GO? YEAH BABY!
What i like its that its light and folds flat. What i do not like is that the base does not expand if you need it to. I would order this again.

Sweet product
My coffee maker went out and waiting for store to replace during quarantine. This easily fit the bill.

Four Star Flavor, Five Star Size
Easiest (non-instant) coffee for camping. This pour-over folds flat and is easier to pack than an AeroPress, though I do prefer the flavor from the AeroPress. I use this with a JetBoil and #2 paper filters and have had great results.I still usually just take instant coffee backpacking, but for car camping or more luxurious backpacking, this is a great piece of gear, especially for 4 dollars.

Superb!
We used this product during our road trip through Alaska and what a lifesaver it was. Very compact, easy to clean, and works perfectly for brewing and pouring that early morning cup of coffee. It hold a standard filter and will drip the coffee of your choice quickly into whatever size cup you choose.
