I purchased this for my son who is in 7th grade. This is his first year with a locker. I read the reviews in advance and had fabric all ready when it arrived to close the back.I noticed that it appeared to be held together with standard size staples. This made my job easier since I was going to sew the back on. I just used a standard stapler to add the fabric then used the hot glue gun to make sure it was securely attached.While the hooks on top did go over the top shelf of his locker I couldn't get them to go on tight. There is a little of the rounded part sticking out which doesn't allow him to close his locker door tight. But his school doesn't use locks and the door will stay shut without latching so it works.Three stars because it is useful but I shouldn't have had to put work into something as soon as it arrived.

My daughter needed a locker shelf to get organized. Most of the kids at school have a single metal shelf style. I'm so glad we found this one instead. It was simple to install and it's adjustable. My daughter needed this installed to one side of her locker so she could still have enough room on one side to hang stuff up. What's great about this design is that it can be adjusted to hook onto a hanger hook on one side of the locker and the other side can be hung from a top shelf in the locker. There are pockets that allow you to move the hangers up or down to level it. It has held up well and with giving you several shelves it makes it easier to organize her books and still gives her room on the side to hang her coat and backpack. Great design.

I'm in the US Navy and live on a ship. Pretty much everything I own must be stuffed into a school-sized locker. This product basically amounts to some sticks, fabric, and cardboard, which you could probably fabricate yourself. But for what it is, is works amazingingly and I've had no problems with it. I put everything in these shelves-- books, random junk, letters, etc. It works, and it holds.If your locker is short, you can also shorten the organizer.I hold this up with four self-adhesive hooks in my locker. Two in the front and two in the back of the metal rods to hang from the top of the locker.If you need something to hold books or organize things, this works much better than crappy plastic shelves designed for school.

Perfect item, except it is hot pink and not blue, as the description says.. Hoping I can get a blue one because it's for my son

Works great, even for law students with heavy casebooks. Sometimes feels a little wobbly tho (but, within my tolerance range).

Can't beat this locker ladder. My kids Middle school has the very narrow lockers. You cannot fit a thing in them without this! worth every penny. Super durable, both of my kids had the same one for all three years of middle school! AND I then passed it on!!!

Nice size, holds notebooks well. I didn't realize when I ordered it that each shelf is open clear through the back. Mine swings from two hooks, and I did manage to drop my stuff out the back once.
