Our original key stopped communicating with our car due to corrosion. We just switched the bodies of the key, reprogrammed the key, and it has worked like a charm. Much, much cheaper than having the dealership replace the entire set.

works even when my old one does not. Would've went 5 star but it is missing the "VW" symbol on it. It may say that in the description, if it did I didn't notice and assumed it would be on there

I have been talking to the sales people thru email and the remote don't work still. they told me to talk to customer service via telephone and 5 time I call, no response.

The item works great but it is not OEM like advertized. I would guess a Chinese copy? It does work and was easy to program.

Code instructions included with purchase do NOT work. FAIL
