I have been buying osmocote for several years now and use it for both my indoor and outdoor plants. It was initially recommended by my local garden center. It is the simplest thing ever, shake 4 times per year and it's done. Nothing to mix, fuss with or keep track of, besides the seasons that is. I like it because it is carefree and it works.
