Better Packages P3S Packer 3s Tape Dispenser is a premium manual tape dispenser thats worth every penny.. This tape dispenser blows all other under $150 manual water activated tape dispensers out of the water. This dispenser was very easy to use and set up. I was up and running in minutes and the water tank is very large and easy to fill to keep on going box after box.If you are thinking about trying out water activated tape or ready to move up from acrylic or mot melt tape this dispenser is the best version you could buy for the price.It evenly coats the tape with enough water and completely side to side with one pull. Theres no need to go back with water in your hand to brush on more water like cheaper models.The blade is very sharp and cuts though reinforced tape with no issues.It is well worth the investment if you can get a roll of water activated tape at a reasonable price. It makes your boxes look cleaner and stronger too. With the right tape you can stick it on to any quality of box and it will stick without you having to worry about it coming off like acrylic to hot melt tape.

This dispenser is built like a tank, so it is both extremely durable and heavy enough to stay put during use. It's very well designed and it dispenses both inside and outside gummed tape. It can hold two rolls of tape of different widths (divider is included), so it's actually two dispensers in one unit. I use it for veneering and marquetry and I find it to be well worth the $108 price.

So far I'm very happy with this "wet dispenser"... It's not hard figuring out the tape path like some make it sound. I choose this product because of the "wetter applied!" ;). That's the method which water is added to the underside of the tape. This unit has what I could describe as a... 3" paint brush with the handle cut off. Then turn it upside down into the water and pull the tape over it... the method works... I think there might be better and Ill try one of the different ones in a couple of weeks. As for the cutter... IT'S SHARP! Don't try giving yourself a manicure with this. It'll get you! I have learned (if I want a real good length of tape to hold, I use the back of one of mu fingers while pulling the tape with the other..I took a star off because the "wetter, cutter, tape platen" all are held down my way of a "snap clip" and some tiny thumb screws. I like the screws idea, butt what I'm going to do is "drill and tap" a set of holes for me to "RE-screw" them into after removing them from the platen. I just dont think need to come off and on each time you fill the tank or clean the brush... over I give it a solid 4! It does the job very well.

Perfect for our retail store. Very high quality. Heavy, doesn't slide around when using one hand. The large water chamber and brush is so much better than sponges. We have been using it for a month and haven't needed to do any maintenance yet. Very practical to clean and maintain. I expect it to last for many years.

Mine worked really well for 2 years, but recently started leaking and it looks like it's because of rust near the water tank. I should have bought the cheap one, I guess. The price tag was not worth it.

Best use of a Benjamin ever! Been wanting to move to gummed tape for packaging for a long time but cost of dispensers was always an obstacle - I just couldn't justify the $300 - $1,000 since I only package a few dozen large boxes per month.This device solved that problem. Very well thought-out and well made. Really happy with this purchase. Smartest money I've spent in a long time

This small but powerful machine is very sturdy. Works as described for gum paper tapes. So simple to use, no hassle.

Works, sort of. Often does not wet more than about 6" of tape.I would not buy again. I would return if I could.

Excellent product, built to industrial standard. Would strongly recommend.Cons-May seem expensive at first but this is something that is built to last darn near forever, no moving parts.-The only thing they could have added was an extra hydration brush as thats the only part I could see getting worn over the years. I'm sure the company would send you one out if you needed.
