Kiln fired with whimsical delphinium blue glaze in a hand-painted original floral design. It has big white polka-dots around the outside. This is a low-fire white-ware ceramic dish with lead-free food safe glazes -- it is dishwasher and microwave safe -- But DON"T do it!! Hand-washing will GREATLY increase the life of this piece. I would also suggest using wooden serving utensils so as not to chip the rim. It measures 12" across x 3¼" tall
