Scoopable Feline Fresh Clumping Natural Pine Cat Litter

Pleasant scent. Clumps are easy to scoop. Not quite as hard clumping as some other litters. Not gritty and does not scratch floor if some gets tracked out.

This is the first time I bought this Feline Fresh litter. I wanted to try it because it said it will clump. I bought this particular one so I can start to mix it with the clay litter I have been using to get my kitten used to pine litters. I figured the clay clumps and if this clumps, it won't interfere with it. Boy was I wrong. This stuff doesn't clump at all. Not with the clay or without the clay. Plus, this pine is in dust form, not compressed, which makes for a lot of tracking. With this said it is pine and pine neutralizes the urine so not being able to scoop hasn't really been a problem. I have since bought a bag of Feline Pine and I mix this in with it just as a filler. Again, the urine won't clump, but that OK. The pine keeps the urine smell down; too bad it doesn't do the same for poop. Our biggest draw though is being able to flush it. Throwing kitty poop in your trash is awful; being able to flush it is heaven. I can deal with a little poop smell when I get home and I don't mind scooping everyday for one cat, but if you have multiple cats, I can see it being a problem.

I bought this after a bad experience with our usual litter (Feline Pine) and we're pleased with it although the price is a little much. It clumps a LOT better than the comparable Feline Pine litter but it's similar enough in texture that the cat didn't have any issue when I used it in a clean box. For the most part, it smells almost the same but there's a faint musty scent to it. It does a great job neutralizing odors, better than pretty much any litter I've tried in the last ten years and it doesn't track all over like most clay litter does.

Really disappointed in the size

No idea what to expect, it's basically sawdust. It smells like a walk through damp woods, or a lumber yard- 2 smells I actually love. It did have low tracking and the strays that made it out of the box were soft (less irritating when you inevitably step on it) and easier to vacuum (it didn't just skitter away in the vacuum winds). Covered odor pretty well. Did not clump tightly. I use a litter robot (best invention for cat owners ever. Ever. Worth any price.) and it worked decently with it. The cats transitioned very easily to it. I liked it and will buy it again

I've tried a lot of different brands of cat litter, and this one remains my favorite. (Feline Fresh SCOOPABLE - not the pellets version). This cat litter absorbs odor better than any other brand. It last three times as long as brands like "world's best." It doesn't track very far, and my cat likes it. Even friends have pointed out how little odor there is with this brand. Plus, the natural scent of it is even kind of nice. I wish this brand was more readily available in stores because every time I try a different brand, I always regret it.

I recommended it to my friend who, on her most recent birthday, did not pass go or collect anything but the title of cat lady. That should tell you everything you need to know.

Not the same as the old feline fresh liter - this is more sandy, but still does the job well. No tracking or mess. Don't need a chisel to clean out the liter box as with some of the other liter brands.

By far the best cat litter out there - masks the smell but natural and non-perfumy (so presumably better for the cats), easy to handle, clumps well and doesn't smear or spread all over my apartment, been using it for a few years now.
