This is the 2nd piece I've purchased from this company in about 2 months time, this being the more expensive of the 2. When I received the item just about 5 minutes ago, one end of the box is busted open and the sheath is pretty beat up on the bottom. It had no plastic bag around the sword like the first one for keeping oil on the blade. It almost looks possibly used.I love this company's products and craftsmanship, but the shipping and or the selling a beat up return should be addressed. You can't go wrong with too much bubble wrap and securing the merchandise in the container.
