Softtouch 4715995N Extended Wear Felt Furniture Pads for Hard and Uneven Surfaces, 3-1/2 Inch Round,Linen, 4 Piece

This item sticks very well. Put it on legs of dining room chairs. Yet, after about a week of use, I noticed that these pads had moved and were now barely covering chair legs. When I tried to remove them, they were stuck to chair legs so firmly that removal was difficult and pad only partially came off. Can not explain how they were slowly sliding off the bottom of the chair legs, yet were almost impossible to remove and replace. But that is what happened.

dramatically better than your typical furniture leg pads. the adhesion is about the same as you'd expect. but the felt is really great.... it is shaped with a convex outline with very tight padding that doesn't easily pickup dirt and hair, which is one of the major problems with the old pads. these new style pads stay on longer and allow the chairs to move more freely over cracks in our hardwood floors. I'm very picky about pads like this. don't take my opinion here lightly. these are the best ones I've found, ever.

Used the 3 1/2" pads on some heavy furniture after installing vinyl plank flooring. Ps adhesive is very aggressive and pad density should keep hard items from getting embedded and causing scratches. The heavy furniture slides nicely on the new floor and with the large surface area of the pads I doubt there will be any indentations developing over time. Plan to install appropriate sized pads from this manufacturer on everything that sets on the floor.

I put these on the bottom of kitchen chairs so they would scoot easily on a wood floor. The adhesive is not nearly strong enough - the pads slipped out from under the chairs and smeared the adhesive on the floor. I will now need to glue them on with superglue, I suppose.The pads themselves seem pretty good, with sturdy rubber cups and felt that should be thick enough.Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend these.

I was hoping that the rounded exterior surface would also mean that the side that adheres to the furniture was also rounded (concave). Unfortunately, that is not the case. So, for my chair legs that are rounded at the bottom, there is no more surface area in contact with the pad with this product than for the more conventional flat pads.

I put these on the Chairs and heavy sofa that slide when plopped down with all their body weight No more screeching sound of tile and wooden legs. It even glides over the grout without getting hung up when you drag a chair across the floor.

I used a drop of crazy glue for better lasting hold.
