Good puzzle, but possible issue for seniors, especially dementia patients
I got this for my father, who has dementia, to add to his puzzle collection. He is a scientist, so I thought it would appeal to him, but it didn't. There is something about the picture that both he and my mother found off-putting--maybe too many discordant colors? I don't know. The puzzle is sturdy and the pieces go together well. Just thought I'd mention this since it seemed to bother both of my parents.

EuroGraphics THE CAT NAP 500-Large Piece Jigsaw Puzzle
This was such a fun puzzle that was moderately challenging but not so much that I wanted to pull my hair out. The pieces are definitely on the larger side and perfect for those who may not see so well anymore or those who would maybe like to put this together with the family. I think it will be too hard for really young children, but I'd estimate that those 10 and older would have no trouble at all helping out.The puzzle itself was very well made with nice clean cuts and every piece was accounted for. Completed it measures 19 and 1/4 by 26 and 5/8 inches and the finished product looks very pretty too. My only issues would be that the side of the box says "Made in China" when I thought this puzzle maker produced their products in the USA, and that the pieces came apart easily and didn't lock together as tightly as I'd have liked.Overall though it's a charming puzzle and an enjoyable way to pass the time. I would guess it took me somewhere between 3-4 hours to finish and I never once had two pieces that looked the same either. All in all it was a well crafted and beautiful puzzle that I'm so glad I bought and was well worth the money I paid for it. This was the third puzzle I've purchased from EuroGraphics and I won't hesitate to buy more.

EuroGraphics BUTTERFLIES: Vintage Stamps 500 Large Piece Family Puzzle
Wow, what a beautiful puzzle. The actual image looks a lot better finished than it does on the front of the box. The pieces are larger than the standard puzzle as well and the completed product measures approximately 19 and 1/4 by 26 and 5/8 inches, which is a pretty decent size for only 500 pieces. Every piece was there too and had nice, clean cuts. No bends, no peeling, and no noticeable nicks anywhere that I could see either. The only downsides are that this maker does not include posters with their puzzles, and that the pieces don't lock together as tightly as I'd like and come apart rather easily. Overall though I was still impressed with the quality of the three puzzles I've purchased form EuroGraphics and won't hesitate to buy more from them anytime =)P.S. I was a little intimidated when I first opened this puzzle and honestly didn't even know where to start. I eventually decided to separate the pieces with the country names and stamp prices first, which gave me a jumping off point and after that it really wasn't all that difficult.

It's a dramatic image - very colorful!
This is a Very good quality puzzle with an excellent picture! My favorite part about it (and the reason I decided on purchasing this one instead of other 'space' themed ones) is the inclusion of the planet names! I also like that it's made from recycled board and printed with vegetable based ink. It's perfect for my 6 year old granddaughter - challenging but not too much. This is our first Eurographics puzzle and we're very happy with it!

Doesn’t include a poster which makes assembly tedious
Clean cut pieces. Interesting content. Well made but note this puzzle DOESN’T INCLUDE A POSTER. Normally this would not be an issue but the image on the box is tiny with additional text (size of pieces, etc) printed over the top of an already difficult to see picture. I’d give it a 5 had it included a poster. I’m putting it together now but without a decent image as a guide, I don’t know how long my patience will last.

All the pieces were there...
And that's the best we can say. The cut is really odd so when it was broken apart to be boxed (wherever it was cut), there are pieces that were bent. If you were thinking about mod-podg-ing the puzzle to frame, you won't be able to read about half of the plane descriptions because of the way pieces were cut - the words were cut and folded over the edges. I don't like puzzles where some pieces just 'sit' next to one another and don't actually snap in. And, now that it's complete, it doesn't lay flat. Like I started with - the cut is really odd. I probably WON'T get another Eurographix puzzle if this is their norm.

Good Quality
This was my first EuroGraphics puzzle and it is well made and doesn't shed dust as some puzzles do. Easy-moderate difficulty but enough puzzle detail to keep it interesting. I'll look for more EuroGraphic puzzles - they may be a tad more $ than others but I appreciated the quality.

disappointment - Cat Nap
Given that these reviews could be for any number of Eurographic puzzles, I wasn't sure about writing a review. This review is for Cat Nap, which is a 500 piece puzzle which when finished is the same size (approx 20 x 27) of a 'standard' 1000 piece puzzle. Hence it was difficult to actually see what you're doing when working it because the pieces are soooo large. I kept having to get up and stand at a distance to get a sense of the entire picture, particularly the cat itself. Also, while in general Eurographic puzzles are good quality, and this was mainly, the pieces didn't stay together. I kept having to reassemble them each time I touched something. But there was hardly any puzzle dust and the pieces were smooth and felt nice in the hand, except for the large size.

Great puzzle if you have a lot of time and patience!
I originally bought this puzzle for my fiance after she had an operation to get her something to do during her recovery as she wanted something to do that she could color in and this seemed to fit the bill.We first attempted the puzzle and got so far before we had to move house but the main niggle was that we were missing an edge piece. Not the end of the world but a bit annoying. We took the puzzle apart and put in in the cupboard. When the coronavirus lockdown was put in place we decided to give the puzzle another go. Once again we did the edges first and of course there was one piece missing. I then meticulously transferred all the remaing pieces from one box to another to find the piece but it just wasnt there.Fast forward a few days and when we had about 30 pieces left the edge piece magically appeared so we are very happy that a) we have completed a puzzle that is surprisingly much harder than you would expect with no color and b) that the last edge piece actually does exist and we are both just apparently blind!

Includes an error
Great quality pieces and images. What a shame it includes a very basic error on both the actual pieces and the artwork on the box: Platinum has been given the atomic number of 28 when it should be 78. It didn't spoil the enjoyment of doing the jigsaw but for something that is supposed to be educational, such an error is not acceptable.

A great puzzle for train mad boys!
Apart from those featuring Thomas the Tank Engine, there are not enough train themed jigsaw puzzles available that are easy enough for boys younger than 10 to complete. This one fits the bill perfectly though. The images were of great interest to my son, and he was able to complete it fairly quickly with no assistance (he’s 8 and not someone who does jigsaws on a regular basis). The pieces are brightly coloured, undamaged on opening, and seem fairly robust. This is a jigsaw that I think he will enjoy doing again, and therefore was money well spent. Would recommend.

Great puzzle
Great puzzle, looks quite a teaser, recipient will be pleased. My big niggle is that the puzzle was not packaged at all, the delivery labels were actually stuck onto the puzzle and a part of the film seal was ripped when I removed the delivery labels. As this is a Christmas present I am definitely not impressed. I know you are busy Amazon but this is not acceptable

Great for younger train and puzzle lovers, but not sturdy.
My three year old son loves trains and simply adores this puzzle. It is beautifully full of interesting trains. You know if it is right for a present just by looking at the picture! Size wise, it is a good coffee table activity, large enough but not spilling over the edge of the table. Its quite a difficult puzzle though, with lots of similar pieces that go in different places. Moving on from 50 piece puzzles is hard for small people, and we're going to be helping on this one for a while longer. Don't get it for the younger puzzler if you don't have time to help. Saying that, with a little familiarity for us with the subtle differences between the black trains, my son can get the right place with just a clue as to which train it might be, and he gets a lot of satisfaction out of it.It loses a star for being quite poorly made. Our first copy get some lemonade spilled on it, and several of the pieces immediately separated into their layers of cardboard. Glueing them together was futile as you can't get it right with e.g. the wrong glue. We reluctantly bought a replacement, since it probably is his favourite at the moment. It is robust enough to survive normal wear and tear but don't get it wet!
