Prospero Comfort Men's Reversible Classic Dress Belt Italian Top Grain Leather Black & Brown Rotating Buckle

My husband received this as a gift and began wearing it once a week to church for a few hours beginning the end of January. Today on March 8 the buckle broke off. The buckle appears to be attached only by one very tiny screw.Naturally the return window has closed. Have contacted the seller to see if they will honor their statement of 100 % customer satisfaction.UPDATE; I contacted the seller and they responded to my concerns within 3 hours and have issued a replacement belt. even though the return window had closed. I consider this top notch customer service! Will need to wait to change the star rating to see ifi the replacement holds up.

I have had trouble finding durable and nice looking belts lately. The ones I have bought in the last few years never seem to last that long. I think this one will be different. The leather has a nice durable feel to it and the holes seem stiffer. I was really happy that the tan side of the belt is actually more of a dark brown, which goes better with what I wear. I was also happy that the buckle is a shiny dark chrome exactly as it appears in the picture. My waste size is a 33" so I ordered the 34" belt. It fits perfectly in the middle hole and the tongue only sticks out about 2" past my belt loop. I will see how it does in the next month or so and if it stays looking nice, I will probably order another one.

Very nice quality leather but don't believe their advice on size. All my pants are 34" waist, so as advised in the listing, I ordered a size 34. Guess what? Yup, when I tried it on the end of the belt barely made it into the buckle. I returned the 34 and ordered a 36. The 36 fits me perfectly with the buckle going into the 2nd or 3rd hole from the end.

I see some other reports of this. After about four months, the single screw that holds the buckle on to the belt started coming loose and the buckle fell off. I was able to screw it back on with a small Phillips head screwdriver, and have been doing so for a couple of months, but it's just become looser and looser over time, less and less able to hold for a long period of time. It finally gave up last night. Though I like the idea of a reversible belt, the quality of the mechanism that allows the reversing is very flimsy, and I regret the purchase. I could have bought a brown and black belt with a traditional buckle for the same price.

I have to say, I normally don’t review many products. At first I loved this belt as you can see in my picture I have purchased two of them. The first one I bought Became too big so I bought a smaller size of the same belt. Shortly after purchase the belt buckle broke. I contacted the seller and told them that this was very cheaply made. I told them that I was a repeat customer and then I had another belt that was a bigger size. They sent me a picture and told me that I could easily put the buckle from the other belt onto the one that fit me better. I was pleased at that time because the other belt was way too big. Lo and behold here we are a few weeks later and guess what? The other buckle broke. Once again I’m back at square one. Two belts and two broken buckles. Don’t buy! The belt buckles are crap!

I wanted to like this belt, as its nice leather with a gray tone buckle (not too shiny). The quality is great. Unfortunately the belt is too wide and buckle too big for the look I was looking for. I wanted a dress belt for a black suit and the look I wanted was a narrow belt with smaller buckle. Personal style choice and an easy return of a quality product.

This arrived yesterday and from the minute I tried it on, it felt outstanding. The belt itself is very sturdy, as is the buckle. The best thing of all is the comfortable fit. Feels as if it was custom tailored. Perfect!!!

I can't say how it will wear as it is new, but the idea of having a beautiful black or brown belt in one is very smart. This will come in especially handy when traveling and you only need to bring one belt! I was initially confused as to how to turn the buckle so I had to YouTube it as the directions that came with the belt were not easy to follow. Once I found out how easy it is to turn, I liked it even more.
