I like the leather pot holder. It definitely protects you from being burned. I've only needed to used it a couple timessince I got it. I found it a little hard to use because it's so stiff. Is that because of the thickness or because it simply needs to be broken in a little? I don't know. I guess time will tell. Maybe I just don't cook enough of the kinds of foods that would require the use of a potholder. If I did a lot of baking or made casseroles it would be used a lot more. It'll come in handy when the occasion does arise though.. I'm not sorry I bought it and know i"ll have it the rest of my life.

I have a "ceramic garbage pot" that I throw Eggs and whatever else goes in scrambled eggs/omelett, stir it up and throw it in the micro for maybe three minutes or until it is hotter than the bad place....This piece of leather ideal to put under the pot at the table or in the palm of your hand whilst shoveling in the slop.....You will feel the heat on your hand somewhat but not enough that you can't hold it......all in all, it is great for my needs....Hide and Drink is my leather products vendor, and only once,out of at least seven purchases, have I been disappointed in a product.....returned it not questions asked...Be advised, this is a square piece of leather,nothing else........good size though

The absolute best kitchen “tool” I’ve purchased in years. While they are a tad expensive (I bought 2), they are a bargain considering that you use them every time you cook something or removed anything from the microwave. They are a great shape/design. Made exceptionally well (never thought I’d say that about a pot-holder). My only regret is that I just discovered these. Wish I knew about them 25 years ago. This is truly a “I gotta have this” product.

What a great product! I have no idea why I’m so excited over a square piece of leather. It wasn’t until I got it into my hands that I realized how versatile this product is. Pot holder, obviously. Put it on the wet ground to kneel on and keep pants clean and dry. Use it to catch shavings if you are making a feather stick. Set on it. Protect you leg if you are working with a knife. Endless possibilities.

Writing this review about a year later, still love this thing and use it ALL THE TIME. Pretty sure it’s going to last forever.

Bought two. They are a good size so I won’t burn my hands. They look great too!

Got these for my son for xmas. He loved them. They were more supple than I expected, thank goodness, and should serve their purpose very well. I think he's more thrilled they'll last many many years and in style. Millennials are not into the throw-away society of the past.

It was a stocking stuffer at Christmas for a daughter who loves all the latest kitchen stuff- she LOVED it!

Die Topflappen sind schnell und unkompliziert geliefert worden. Das Produkt ist sehr hart, aber ich denke, wenn es öfter in Gebrauch ist, wird es vielleicht weicher werden. Die Stärke ist dick genug, um Hitze nicht so schnell durchzulassen. Ich habe mir gleich zwei gekauft und ich nutze sie sehr gerne... sie sehen zudem auch noch sehr dekorativ an der Wand aus.
