California Costumes Pet Wooly Mammoth Dog Costume

Good quality and holds shape well. Material is thicker, making so it doesn't fall "limp" like many other costumes. This is the best costume I have purchased, and I have purchased about 15 dog costumes in the past. Size large fit my 62lb english bulldog perfectly. Just something to consider when sizing by weight though is that an english bulldog is really compact and short. They have large chests, so a taller dog of a different breed will often have different proportions for their weight. The height was right on for a bulldog, so legs would not reach to ground of taller dog.

This was a FIRST for me, I have NEVER dressed a dog for Halloween before, and I never EVER thought I'd be one of those people who did. This summer I "acquired" (found on the highway) a tiny chihuahua puppy. I brought her to my antique store, where she was a huge hit with the customers. We have a costume contest each year at Halloween & after many inquiries as to what the nature of the dog's costume would be, I started looking for one. This is what I purchased, and it was AMAZING! The only downside was that she didnt like the mammothhead over her face (I don't blame her) and kept tossing it behind her. Nontheless this costume was a tremendous hit!

Naturally, my dog hated wearing the trunk, but it fit perfectly. She is a 30 lb boxer mix with a very large rib cage and the large fit around her and down her legs. The costume itself was very well-made and the trunk is sturdy.

This costume was SO CUTE and hilarious. Unfortunately, it was way too big for my French Bulldog. I don't know her exact measurements but she's about 23 lbs. and people normally remark on how big she is. Sadly, she was swimming in this (size Medium). As soon as she took a step, she stepped right out of it. The costume was really well-made, though, and like I said - completely adorable. I will be looking to this brand again for inspiration for next year's Halloween!

I have a 10 pound toy poodle and the size small fit perfectly . I had to button the mammoth's head to the body because it was a little heavy and would tip onto his face and I am sure my little pooch would not have liked that one bit. This is a great looking costume compared to what you see and pay at the pet stores. Over all totally worth the money.

This costume is absolutely hysterical on my small dog. She loves to dress up for Halloween and this one was super funny. She is part daschund, so I had to pin up the legs a bit. Otherwise, the size I ordered fit her well and everyone who came to our house for trick or treating got a huge kick out of seeing her as a Wooly Mammoth! She will wear it again for years to come. Good construction and sturdy - will last a long time.

I have a 45 lb English Bulldog and just had to buy this costume. It was constructed well with nicely formed tusks, trunk and tail. I was quite pleased. I did find that the legs are about 1/2 inch too long for my Bulldog, which was not a big deal. This will be quite easy to alter.It does not have ear holes, but there are instructions for cutting them so they are in exactly the right spot for your dog.

While the photo shows this costume being worn by an English Bulldog, I would not recommend it for this breed. The legs were too long and he tripped over his own feet. Also, our Bully isn't very big (46 lbs) and the straps barely fit around his midsection. The hat part kept falling off as well. We wound up just taking it off of him after 5 minutes because he was so miserable with it on.
