It's useable & gets the job done
I waited about a little over a week to do this review so I could be as accurate and honest as possible. I'll start with the short list & below that will be the full details if you care.My stats:27-weeks (6.5mos) -- started using at 25weeks5'11"Pre-Preg size: 8/10 (29) pants, Sm dress, Sm shirts Pre-Preg Measurements: 36-26-39Maternity Pants: I have (2) pair of HM size 12 skinny jeans that fit perfect1st baby, all bellySize Ordered: 2Pros:- Hides that my pre-preg pants are unbuttoned and/or unzipped- Good stretch to the material for a growing bump- Nice fold down option for the smaller bump- Smooth appearance under a shirt, even when folded- Doesn't roll if you pull it down to just below the belt loopCons:- Strong chemical smell out of package- "chemical" made me itch uncontrollably & feel nauseated- After hand washing to release chemical the fit is not as goodDetails:I finally purchased this item after a day a work where a coworker laughingly pointed out my that "rubber band through the button & hole" hack was no longer working because my zipper was no longer staying up, but she was impressed that even pregnant I was still wearing beautiful undies. LoL!! **I'm not longer embarrassed because I've been naked in front of so many doctors & nurses throughout this high risk pregnancy that it doesn't even matter anymore.** Anyway, I received the package direct from Amazon in the Igrid & Isabel packaging & since I was about to head out I was excited to wear it right away because that meant I could wear my pre-preggo pants & would have a lot more outfit options. I opened the package & was greeted with a VERY strong chemical smell. I haven't had much sensitivity to smell, but asked for a 2nd opinion, my friend said it smelled like it came straight from a factory in China. I set it outside to air while I did my makeup and then got dressed. When I put it on, I didn't smell it much, and my initial impression was that it fit PERFECT. It was fitted all over, but there was clearly enough stretchable room to grow into. Unfortunately after about 3-hours I was feeling nauseous, slightly dizzy, and my stomach & the skin touching the band was itching like CRAZY. It was definitely the chemicals from the Bellaband. Now, I've never had an irritation to any materials or chemicals in the fabrics. I wear anything from forever 21, H&M, guess, seven for all mankind, it doesn't matter as long as it fits & has a cute style. THIS was a problem! I got home & my stomach was red from all the scratching, but no visible skin irritation. I immediately put it in the sink with cool water to hand wash it (see photos), I expected to see black dye run out--as per usual with cheap clothes, but what I saw was shocking. THE WATER TURNED YELLOW. Like country time lemonde yellow. Whatever chemical was it it was running out. I snapped a couple photos, then added laundry soap. To my surprise, no black dye ran out. Only yellow. I did a number of washes & rinses until the water was virtually clear & no more yellow (probably 4 or 5 hand washes) and let it air dry. I wore it again 2days later and it didn't fit the same. The bottom has a clear maybe silicone/rubber "banded line" that grips the clothes & keeps a nice snug fit, however the top half that covers my upper belly is baggy now. Even when folded the top half is a bit big. I know that I'll grow into it eventually, but I likely won't fit into my pre-preggo jeans once my belly gets that big, so it kind of defeats the purpose. I also took a photo in a fitted non-maternity tank top so you can see it does have some use. Without the band, the top would otherwise roll up & and my unbuttoned pants would def be exposed. The lines under the shirt are all from the band bring folded & no longer "fitted" at the top.

great product, but size is off - runs small
Love the band, but it's so tight!! I am normally (pre-pregnancy) a size 6 (5'7" and 145 lbs), and I bought this band in size 1. When I was in my first months, before I had a bump, it fit well, but now that I'm 5 months pregnant, it cuts my breath. I imagine a size 1 would only fit someone who was a size 0-2 before getting pregnant. Considering that size 1 was very very tight, I bought a size 2, and it's significantly more generous and fits well. The difference between size 1 and 2 is pretty large, too. The size chart is really off for pregnancy sizes, which is why I'm only giving it 4 stars. However, the band itself is great. The silicone edge that really helps to keep it up. And the fact that it's not so stretchy helps to keep it in place.I use it to keep some of my maternity pants in place, as the elastic band on the maternity pants is usually weak and the pants tend to sag down. This band keeps my pants up :)

Hold normal pans in place all day comfortably
I love these. I bought a black and white one from the Ingrid website a few months ago. I bought two more in white this time and couldn't be happier with them. Don't get a knock off, you'll end up frustrated. They hold up my prepregnancy jeans all day long with no problems. I can sit, stand, bend over and I don't have to mess with them or readjust. It doesn't seem to get stretched out over repeated uses either. I place the silicone band around my hips, hike the top up under my bra and it covers the totally unzipped portion so I can slip a shirt on over. It looks like a tank top under my maternity tees or other shirts. The only thing you have to watch for is that (for me personally) a very smooth fitted pre pregnancy shirt would probably allow the sillouhette underneath where your pants are open to be slightly visible. The ruching of any fitted maternity shirt or any longer loose shirt hides it entirely.

One of the most used maternity item I bought. Worth the price!
I purchased several pants from Motherhood Maternity when I found out I was pregnant (ending the first trimester). Since it was my first pregnancy, I really wasn't sure if I should buy a small or a medium. Do I get fat everywhere? Is it only my belly that grows?I'm normally a medium in other brands, so I bought 2 medium petite and 2 small. I was able to fit comfortably (with ample room!) on the small when I was around 3-4 months pregnant. The medium was on the bigger side. All of them required additional support to stay up even with built-in panels, and that's when I decided to purchase the Bellaband. Initially, I had to fold the maternity panels in half then use this product over them because the panels were quite huge on my still-small belly. That didn't impede the functionality of the Bellaband though. The product definitely held up my maternity pants/jeggings, and even normal winter pants on. I followed the tag for washing it, and it still did its job without issues after.By the 5-6 month mark, the small pants were skin tight (like tight skinny jeans). Not uncomfortable, but I definitely got fat on my thighs and legs. Edema contributed a lot. The Bellaband allowed me to continue wearing the pants. Without it, I would have needed to readjust and lift the pants every 5 minutes. The medium pairs fit nicely, but they still would not have been held up by the built-in panel. The Bellaband was stretchier and thicker. In fact, I accidentally poked a hole on a pants panel when I was putting them on. Again, the Bellaband saved the day because it just covers up the ugly hole.In the end, I was also grateful that I only needed to wash this a few times throughout my pregnancy because the maternity pants panel were able to serve as a barrier between my lotioned-up skin and the product. Pairing this with the maternity pants was NOT a waste of money, in my opinion.Overall, I highly recommend this product. It can hold up all types of ill-fitting pants, hide flaws on the panels, and yet doesn't add to the mountain of laundry you have to do. You can reuse it again and again without soiling if paired with cheap maternity pants with built-in panels. My total cost for my maternity clothes were ~350 dollars. It includes 4 pairs of pants, 3 shorts, 1 dress, 1 top (I was able to use my regular t-shirts), 3 types of maternity belts (a smaller stretchy one for the 2nd trimester, a bigger one for the 3rd trimester and a vaginal support one for days with edema) and 12 pairs of compression socks, and, of course, the Bellaband.

Product is good, but only 1 item (not 2 as advertised)
I bought this bellyband at 4 months pregnant to support my pregnancy as I did not want to replace all my pants with maternity leggings.Note that you will only receive ONE (1) item, and not 2 as advertised, which was disappointing. The product itself functions well, and holds the elasticity just right for me now at 6 months. I am size XS (UK Size 6, US size 0 or 0P) and use size 1 based on the instructions. Given how it hold on me, I would suggest anyone UK size 10 onwards to upsize as the band may be very stretched at uncomfortable level - this does not happen to me yet. It is easy to put on, and does not pressure my belly which is a plus. Overall I am happy with the product, but pricey for only 1 item.

Great for early pregnancy and useful to be able to wear pre-pregnancy clothes after bump appears
A very useful product, especially for early pregnancy and the first appearance of the bump. This belly band seems to uniquely have a silicone strip to grip to your trousers. Now that I am 21 weeks I don't find it comfortable enough for everyday wear, because having unzipped trousers plus a belly band leads to a lot of bulk around the hips, which makes my bump feel weird. However, this band saved me when I had to go to a formal work meeting as I could still wear my nice trousers, just with the band covering the unzipped top! Otherwise I would have had to try to get some formal pregnancy trousers, which seems like a waste for occasional use.

Better to just buy maternity pants
Prefer just wearing maternity jeans even from early on. Didn't feel like I could trust this to keep my trousers up and didn't find it overly comfy. Come in handy now to keep up my work maternity pants which are enormous when I'm not yet!

Maternity wear essential!
I really didn't like maternity jeans so this was brilliant, kept me in my normal jeans right through my pregnancy!
