My dog loves it. He wants to play with it and have you throw it in the house! Very strong product and perfect for my strong jawed pup. So far he carries it everywhere with him.

We rescue and rehabilitate Irish Wolfhounds (IWH). Not an easy job as they usually come to us with varied physical and mental difficulties, but we have always loved the breed and admire their good traits. They are a majestic and gentle breed inherently but sometimes they are raised in conditions not suitable to developing these traits. The hounds live with us in our home as family members. Eventually my wife and I, along with the older hounds, are able to teach the 'newbies' how to act. What a joy to watch them gain confidence and blossom!Most of these guys and gals come to us as heavy chewers. Teething in the younger ones is always a problem and anything that presents an opportunity to chew on is fair game -- to them, not us! So we keep natural and mostly indestructible bones around for them, both antlers like this one and fresh frozen beef femurs we get at the grocery store. We never use rawhide or Nylabone chews, as both can be pulled apart and can raise havoc with a IWH digestive system. And of course we never provide them with cooked bones -- they splinter and can cause internal injuries.There are not a lot of truly 'indestructible' chew toys out there. Just when you think that you found one, either the dog(s) will ignore it or you will start to find bits and pieces of it lying around. If you give them something new, don't take it for granted that they won't be able to shred it, watch them and learn. The same goes for all the stuff they can find in your yard. It's amazing the things that they will find and chew on. Items that you dropped and lost, plants and sticks, and things that others have thrown into your fenced- in yard.So it's nice to have a natural chew toy that is safe for our Irish Wolfhounds and that gives them hours of chewing pleasure. Their are only two cautions I will give you: make sure that the antler you buy is too large for your dog to try to swallow, and check with your vet to determine if it will be safe for their teeth. A chipped and/or broken tooth is a tough and expensive problem to deal with.

Best company for the price. Dogs love the antler. Antler thickness, length and durable. Better product. Will buy again.

There were 3 antlers in the package. They had different appearances from each other. One was smooth and light colored. The other 2 were darker brown and bumpy. The first one of the darker brown ones I gave him seemed more fragile and pieces broke off as he chewed. That didn’t happen with the antlers I bought previously from this same vendor. I ended up throwing the one away as I was concerned he’d get a piece that he’d swallow and have intestinal issues. These were pretty expensive to end up throwing one away. The light one seems fine. I have not tried the other darker brown one but am worried it would be “ softer” too. I’d love to hear from the vendor.

I LOVE these antlers! The dogs love them and no pasture smell from the hooves or horns I normally buy. They are sanded down before they get to you so your fur babies don’t cut their gums. 3 out of 4 of mine are aggressive chewers so this was an investment well worth it 😊

I love these antlers! More importantly, my dogs love these antlers!I recently became the 3rd owner of a young rescue Border Collie. She needs to chew. I've noticed that chewing helps keep her calm and direct her energy. I spend a lot of time training her, so having her engage in chewing means I have more time for myself.I'm on my second WhiteTail Naturals Large Premium Deer Antler, and I regret that I didn't buy more. These are long and wide. They are also an incredible value. I'd have to pay over double the price for a similar product at my local big box pet store.They are also large enough (by which I mean both long and wide) that I'm not worried about my dogs splintering them. That said, my dogs are Border Collies. While they are tenacious chewers, they lack the chewing power of larger breeds like German Shepherds and Labradors. For those dogs, I'd probably want a size larger and monitor the chew session more closely.I am extremely pleased and will be placing future orders.

I bought this product awhile back for my white pit mix (Cooper) and it lasted and he loved it. Decided to buy it again for him and our red golden (Lily). Got the bones in last week and Lily destroyed hers in 4 days! We had to take it away bc we were worried she’d attempt to swallow the remaining piece. Cooper’s bone is still holding up which is surprising. Maybe the quality of each bone are not the same. We got the bones that were meant to last for big dogs and heavy chewers. Rating it a 3 because the bone did not last more than 4 days and it’s pricey so I’d hope they’d hold up longer. My dogs loved it and I’d prefer this over plastic chew-bones but I may have to look into other bone chewing options especially for Lily.
