Bauhaus Ballet: (Beautiful, illustrated pop-up ballet book for Bauhaus Ballet lovers and children)

Should have been published in 1923. Oskar Schlemmer would have loved this.

I saw this book at a museum and bought it on Amazon as it was significantly less expensive. The pop-up and movement elements are magnificent matching the beauty of the design of the dancers and dance itself. Wonderful colors and patterns. A true work of art and exceptionally well made especially given the pop-up features.Side note: I bought this book for myself...it has given me great joy and I can only imagine the joy of reading this with someone who is the physical age of a child.

This is one of the coolest books I’ve ever seen! It’s absolutely delightful! I got one for myself and one as a gift for my friend’s daughter— she LOVED it! It’s beautiful and innovative and I never tire of flipping through its amazing pages!

I really loved the artwork in this book and so did the friend I bought it for. The pop ups are not as dramatic and detailed as other pop up books I have purchased and so I was a bit disappointed there but it really is a beautiful book bc the art work is so fine

This is a fantastic book. A great and engaging look into the Ballet, with some very clever and fun pop ups. I only wish It was longer, although that would make the book thicker, and its already quite big!
