THE GOOD: SouthWire is North America’s leading manufacturer of wire and cable. Safety should be priority #1 for anyone that works with electrical products and SouthWire has a long history of manufacturing a high quality product at a very competitive price. All wire is not the same and SouthWire products are well respected in the industry. The coil of wire arrived neatly packaged and ready to use.THE BAD: Well, it's not really bad, per se, but it is pretty tricky to work with a 50 foot coil of wire, especially when you remove the shrink wrap. The wire certainly doesn't spring apart like cheap garden hose but it is a bit challenging to manage the cable when you're in tight quarters and working alone. I'd love it if wire manufacturers started packaging 50 foot coils the same way they package 500 foot boxes of phone or network wire. So, the product is great, but the packaging could be easier to handle.THE BOTTOM LINE: A great high quality product, A fantastic price that beat all the big box stores and all the other online merchants. Reasonably fast delivery (less than a week). What more could you ask for? Worthy of a 5 star rating - no stars lost because of packaging since all the vendors package the small coils the same way.

Ordered this on a Sunday 11/24. Looks like I may get it Monday 12/9. Thats 2 weeks, ancient in Amazon time. I should have just gone to my local Lowes/Home Depot. I'm sure it's a fine product, and hate reviews based on shipping or damage. I will upgrade the review as soon as I actually get the item.,UPDATE: Item finally arrived 12/9- seems like nice 12/3 wire, not Romex brand, but that doesn't bother me. Now I can finally get my project done! I ordered from Gatzies, as there are other venders. Product is good, price was good, shipping was slower than I would have liked.
