Great picture hanging kit!
It's strong and vinyl coating is really nice. Not only it protects the stainless steel wire from elements and fraying, but it makes it a please to work with. Love the aluminum crimp sleeves, as they hold better and definitely look better than making knots or loops yourself. I just wish more sleeves would be included, but more can be bought separately for 5$ or so, so it's not a big deal. All in all great picture hanging kit, i used it hang a bunch of pictures of different sizes and i am very satisfied with the results.

Works great when crimped properly
This wire is way more flexible than I had expected... Which is a huge bonus for me! Most all of the bad reviews are complaining about how difficult making the crimps is for them to do.The crimp sleeve is a harder aluminum that needs to be crimped with the proper tools.... I used large vice-grip pliers with zero issues. I crimped the entire length of the sleeve with the vice-grips and have had zero issues that some others are having. If you don't have pliers for this task then crushing the sleeve with a hammer works well to.

Coated but holds a knot
I didn't realize the wire was coated. The coating gives it a nice finish, but it does keep you from twisting or inter-braiding the wire to secure it, the way you can with uncoated picture wire. They include 10 sets of crimps, which I haven't yet used. I wasn't hanging anything huge, so I opted to knot the wire to secure it. It will hold a knot, but you have to make the kind of knot you'd use with fishing line... instead of ordinary overhand knots (1 twist, or once through the loop), you need extra twists... twice through on the first knot, three times through on the second. Tightening the knot takes a strong pull. Also, I tried cutting it with my tin snips, and that made a mangled end. An old pair of household scissors (one you don't mind damaging) worked better, with the wire far back in the jaw of the scissors.

Super strong cable
This is substantial cable. I don’t know how to use those little ends. It will last a very long time.

Be careful
This is plastic coated wire that cannot be twisted onto itself

Great product, very professional look, no crimping tool needed!
Much more professional look than using uncoated wire and no metal splinters! People have mentioned that they could not crimp the sleeves with pliers, but you just need to know two things. First, be sure you are crimping the wider dimension of the sleeve (i.e. you are crimping the wires together). Second, don't try to crimp the whole sleeve at once; start by crimping one half, then crimp the other half. If you do this you'll have no trouble. The longer the pliers handle, the easier it is to crimp as you have more leverage.

The wire is nicely plastic coated.
The aluminium clamps provided easily clamped onto the wire. There are enough of them to hold ten pictures only. Without them, the wire cannot be twisted in the traditional way. More of them will be needed to use the 100 ft. of wire.

Conforme a la description, il faut une bonn pince pour couper, sinon excellent produit

Not enough ferules.
Plenty of wire but minimal ferules. So you are limited to the number of pictures you can have unless you twist the wire.
