Being oven-safe, these were originally meant for homemade, rustic pot pie & french onion soups. However, because of their size and shape, it turns out they are also perfect for cereal, reheating leftovers, etc. The design includes a very slight belly, which helps liquids stay where they should. Also, because they stack nicely in the cabinet, they seem to take up less space. This product really is a nice mix of quality and utility. Would purchase again.

These are fantastic. Not too small, not too big. Perfect for baking in, soups, cereal, anything. Very well made.

It’s fall and time for soup! I bought these so I’d have enough room for the cheese and bread in my home made French onion soup. The quality is exceptional…very heavy & sturdy. The color is beautiful. Dishwasher safe, comes out clean and ready for my next recipe. I stacked 2 at a time but put paper towels in between the crocks in case of chipping. You can’t go wrong with these beautiful bowls~

September 10, 2024 ~No instructions or user guide for washing or care instructions. No indication in writing that they are microwave or dishwasher safe.Won't stack more than two high or they will tip over. This means the product will require additional shelf space to store in your cabinet.handles are a bit too small, so require extra care in removing from oven. Handles were not too hot to handle with bare fingers after heating soup in microwave oven to a hot temperature.Capacity of bowl will easily accommodate large cans of soup without rising too high to spill over edge.Thick, rounded rim will resist chipping on top edge.Outside surface of bowls is very mildly rippled, not smooth, but not too noticeable, at least in the white colored bowls.Not too heavy or too thick to handle easily, but substantial enough to hold in heat (or cold) for a good while until food is consumed.Carefully packaged in shipping box to prevent damage during shipping. NO chips on edges.IMHO, this is an acceptable choice at the time of this review. I returned the prior purchase of other bowls that were highly rated because of damaged condition of chipped edges, upon receipt, as other reviewers had mentioned.

These ramekins are amazing. They are the perfect size for individual pot pies, which is the main reason I got them. My family loves chicken pot pie with puff pastry on top and these were the best vessel for that. We have even made individual cobblers and French Onion soup in them as well. They stack well and are easy to clean.

The size is good making them versatile that they can be used for more than soup . They were purchased as a gift & the recipient was pleased with everything as she is very fussy.

This is a great addition to my mother’s kitchenware. She loved the gift so much. They can also hold up large amt of soup! Well packed, very useful and pretty bowls!
