It works for Dual monitor. It does. Just don't try to decipher the instructions.
So first off let me say that this product works. The reviews that say it doesn't work - they either got a bad box (unlikely) or just didn't know how to set it up.The instructions are trash...just throw them in the garbage. You will need 4 additional hdmi cables and possibly some converters for display port or usb c or dvi. I personally couldn't get VGA to work.MonitorsEverything going into the box will be an HDMI port. The two cables going out to your monitors will be HDMI and then HDMI or another with an adapter or cable that you use. I personally have hdmi out to display port on my big monitor and hdmi out to dvi on my older smaller screen. The HDMI sides coming back into the box will be plugged into the two monitor ports on the box. ThatsPCs/LaptopsThe four additional HDMI ports will be associated up and down. The HDMI above use HDMI out to whatever (hdmi, display port, dvi, usb c) into PC1. The HDMI port below, use the cable that came with box that has an additional usb. The usb and hdmi at the end of that cable will go into PC1. So you should have two cables and the additional usb plugged into your PC1/Laptop1. Rinse and repeat for PC2. Above port from box goes to PC2. Below port goes to PC2 with the USB.Pull in info from monitorsAfter all these 6 hdmi mess is plugged into your box and your cables are all strewn about your desk, plug in your mouse and keyboard to the mouse and keyboard usb ports on the box.**IMPORTANT STEP** (Make sure the box is plugged in and turned on with the switch on the back) Hold down on the front of the box the PC1 button for 10 seconds or until you hear some terrible succession of beats. This lets you know the box has your monitor info. After this you should be able to switch freely between devices. My Setup2 laptops with no hdmi ports. 2 monitors with no hdmi ports.used an dvi to hdmi cable for one monitor and display port adapter for the other. for the laptops, used a docking station with two display port ports for pc1 and usb c and display port adapter for the other port. Some lessons learnedI could not get VGA to work. When switching to PC1, the vga monitor would not be recognized, solved by getting used docking stations with two display ports on it.The beeping noise is awful when switching back and forth between laptops, def looking into how to turn that offMake sure your pc/laptop display options are set to extend to the other monitor and if using a laptop that the power settings arent set to sleep or hibernate when closing the lid. This is all I have for now. Finally got it to work this morning after the vga port fun. docking station proved successful. Will report back if i find a way to silence the beep.

Worked Perfectly! Now Not So Much ...
I will say that when I first received this, I had a difficult time getting it to work and was about to send it back. Instead, I followed the instructions on the product page, which are much clearer than the included instructions, and it now works perfectly. You really do have to connect it in the order given in the instructions. But I now have my work laptop and personal desktop connected to my 2 monitors, and I can switch easily between them using one click on the remote. I use the same monitors, keyboard, and mouse for both. Even if I unplug my work laptop (which is required occasionally), it works seamlessly when I plug it back in. This is exactly the setup I was looking for!UPDATE: 2.5 months after beginning using this, and being very happy with it, I moved my desk from one part of the room to another - and in that move, unplugging all cables and then replugging, this stopped working. It now emits a high-pitched tone anytime I turn it on, and won't connect to anything. I contacted the seller for help, and they basically told me to do everything I'd already tried (make sure cables are in tightly, reset, etc.). They were no help at all, so I now have a $130 paperweight.

Works as advertised
I'm using this KVM to switch between my personal desktop and my work laptop. The desktop is plugged directly into port B using two HDMI cables. I have a keyboard, mouse, and the transmitter for my Corsair headphones plugged into 3 of the USB ports. The laptop is plugged into a USB-C docking station, and then the two HDMI ports on the docking station plug into port A on the KVM.Switching between the two ports works perfectly. My only complaint is that it seems that some of the setup requires the use of the remote. There's no way to change some of the settings through the buttons on the device. The first setting I changed was to turn off the large BEEP that happens when you change ports. It is ridiculously loud.My other complaint is the brightness of the LEDs on the front of the case. The green LEDs to tell you which port is active aren't too bad, but the LEDs above the buttons to tell you which ports have signals coming into the box are way too bright. I don't really need those LEDs, so I just stuck some black electrical tape over them. I'm not sure if those can be turned off. I didn't look at the manual long enough to find out. If they were dimmer, it wouldn't be so bad. Those two complaints are why I reduced the rating from 5 to 4. The device works well, but if I ever loose that remote, then I won't be able to change any settings on it.Well. I guess I do have 1 more complaint. There's no mounting bracket or rubber feet. If you want to mount it to the underside of a desk, you'll have to figure something out. And the lack of rubber feet means you could scratch the top of your desk if it gets slid around. Rubber bumper feet are pretty cheap on amazon, so you could order some of those. At some point I plan on designing an easy 3d printed bracket and mounting it under the edge of my desk. I just haven't done it yet.
