Really nice holster
I hadn't heard of CYA Holsters but the reviews on Amazon were great so I bought one. It fits my S&W M&P Shield 9mm perfectly and is is a very high quality holster. It has two adjustable screws so you can set the retention to your liking. It definitely has a nice solid click when you place the gun in the holster, it's very secure. You can also adjust the cant if you like, the factory setting was perfect for me. The belt clip is nice and wide so I haven't had any issues with the holster moving around on me. Obviously just like with any holster, you want to use a good quality gun belt. I'm very pleased with the quality of this holster, you can just tell it's a well made piece. I'll try and give an update in a few months to see how it's holding up, I don't anticipate any issues though.

Small, light, American made...what more could you ask for?
**SEE 2 YEAR UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM**Let me just start by saying that I have been VERY pleased with this M&P Shield IWB Holster from CYA Supply Co. so far. The Shield has been on my "list" for quite a long time now and while I was looking for a decent carry holster, this product came up. After seeing all of the great reviews and seeing the price (under $40), I knew I would have to give this a shot once I got the Shield. Well, I purchased a 9mm Shield a couple weeks ago, so I put the order in for this holster this last Saturday afternoon and I already received it today (Tuesday, 3 days later). The packaging was simple and the holster came with an Allen wrench (looks to be a 3/32") to fit the retention and cant adjustments. The holster itself is very light and appears to be made of a durable plastic (see product description for exact type) that appears very durable yet flexible. I have been wearing it for the last couple of hours with zero irritation on my skin, so I am very excited to begin using it as my EDC. The clip that comes standard will fit a 1 1/2" belt, with a possible belt thickness of 1/4" (my belt is not this thick so I cannot say for certain that it will fit one this thick) I really like how CYA has incorporated the ability to adjust both the retention and cant for this holster, making this a very valuable product to those that have not found a holster to meet your carry style. For those that may not know, the retention adjustment allows you to customize the grip (retention) that the holster places on your M&P Shield as it is holstered to allow for a tighter or looser drawing of the weapon. The cant adjustment allows you to customize the angle that your M&P Shield is placed in your waistband from 0 degrees (barrel pointed straight down for a straight up draw) to 15 degrees (barrel is pointed slightly back and the grip angled forward slightly for an angled draw).Pros:-Cheap price for a great quality holster-Material is light, but also appears durable-A thin holster for a thin gun (measured at about 1 3/4" at the thickest point, including the clip)-Excellent shipping (purchased on Saturday, arrived Tuesday in Colorado)-Comes with adjustment Allen wrench needed for all adjustments-Ability to customize retention, as well as cant angle (from 0-15 degrees)-The fact that it is made in the USA by a veteran-owned company makes this product that much more awesome to meCons:-This is not really a con, but since the clip is made from plastic and not metal like I have traditionally seen, this may end up being a problem point. It is made from the same material as the rest of the holster, with metal screws, so provided that the holster itself holds up as well as I think it will, then I guess the clip will not be an issue. Just figured I'd mention it for those wondering.Overall, I am highly impressed. From what I have seen so far, I would 100% recommend this to anybody looking for a Shield holster. I will be updating my review after I have carried my M&P Shield in this holster for a while.**UPDATE** 09-Apr-18 (Purchased 25-Jun-16)I have had this holster now for nearly two years and it fits just as well as it did when I first got it. I have not had to tighten or adjust the screws at all since I first got them how I liked them, which is very important for me to not have to worry about anything coming loose while carrying. I have not noticed any wear in the material or finish, although I wear this as my EDC. I have not had any issues with skin irritation from rubbing and sweating, so all in all still very impressed! My ONE big takeaway point is to be sure that you use a quality belt, something with some thickness. I started carrying while wearing a thin (like less than 1/8" nylon webbing) belt, but this would move out of place and once or twice fully slip off. After I bought a 1-1/2" wide (1/4" thick) leather CCW belt from Relentless Tactical, I have not had any issues with this holster moving or coming off. Like a few other reviews I saw before I made the purchase stated, A GOOD GUN BELT IS A MUST, not just for this holster but for all holsters in general.I am still highly recommending this holster for the M&P Shield after 2 Years of use!

My New CYA M&P Shield 9 Holster.
I have never been a IWB carry person in all of my years of carrying a firearm, it's always been hip strong side carry. Ever since purchasing my S&W M&P Shield 9mm I've wanted to try IWB carry it seemed like a good carry option to go along with the slim & sleek lines of the Shield. After reading various reviews I decided to go along with the CYA holster, I was impressed with the various positive reviews that I read. I've only worn this combination several times so far, but I have been impressed with slim sleek lines of this holster, the Shield fits into the holster like a gloved hand, with a positive and tactile click when the pistol is inserted. I have to get used to this style of carry, but so far it has been comfortable, the CYA holster has been a good decision so far.

Updating My Review Again
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is a 2 year review on my second CYA Holster and update as I just bought this because I unfortunately lost my first one.First of all let me say I have a bag full of holsters that I like for various reasons and I do not think there is a one for all type holster but this is the closest to that need. I just keep coming back to it.Pros:Slim profile, noticeably slimmer than my We The People Kydex holsterHugs the body like a properly fitting IWB should, it offers reduced printingHigh canted "combat" grip that I just love. It makes it really easy to grip and index the full grip of my firearm and helps in the reholstering.Adjustable trigger guard retentionFull barrel coverage with a drainage cutSweat guardThe holster covers the magazine release; for an IWB this is essential for me for a OWB it would be stupid but it works for an IWBDid I mention how slim it is ?Very comfortable or at least as comfortable as a plastic holster can beEasy to put on and take off, requires no permanent attachment to beltVery good audible re-holstering clickNo damage to my firearm or marring from plasticConsMy first holster developed stress cracks at the belt clip attachment point, I was really annoyed but it still worked just fine so I still occasionally wore it.It is not the most secure holster you can buy, its a clip, so if it comes off your belt there is a good chance that the holster can come out so I wouldnt be doing any backflips anytime soon (not that I can but if I could... you know)Overall I just keep coming back to this holster. I currently have in my rotation this holster which I would call my "nearly every day carry" a JM4 Tactical Roughneck for Deep concealment, a Desantis Mini Scabard for OWB in the woods / hiking / hunting / winter concealment, We the People Kydex holster with loops instead of a clip for I would say "medium concealment with maximum security" and a Sneaky Pete for when I have to take my gun off and on a lot.Overall, I think the CYA is the best bang for your buck. If you can really only afford one holster, are just starting to conceal carry, or really looking for that one do it all holster I think this is it and the price is right at under 40 bucks. One thing to note about using holsters; there is a misconception that kydex or plastic holsters are uncomfortable; I notice hardly any difference between a plastic or kydex holster and a leather or neoprene / nylon style holster ... Its a heavy metal object its not going to be comfortable. The key to any good fit of a IWB holster or holster in general is to TRY IT OUT IN DIFFERENT PLACES ! Every body is built a bit different, some people have less padding in certain areas or more in others or bend one way or another. I would say start at the 4 oclock position, try it out for a week (unless it is immediately uncomfortable then move it) then I would move it a little closer to 330 or 430 -530 depending on your body type. I cant help you if carry in the front because I dont but if you are IWB right or left hand carrying I recommend you try different spots and of course a good thick sturdy gun belt and a long enough shirt even if you have to go to the Big and Tall section and grab a tall hoodie and a tall button up, it will be worth it.
