From manufacturer- Aging Glaze: Old Town Paints Antique Glaze is Perfect for giving your project that aged and antiqued finish. Antique Glaze pairs great with all of Old Town Paints Colors and looks great over distressed projects, it can be added on lightly or heavy depending on the look you are trying to achieve. Wax Finish: Old Town Paints Soft Clear Wax has wonderfully natural feel that will protect and seal your piece without altering the color. Waxing can be done with a brush or a clean cloth. Use the wax sparingly to cover the piece. Wipe off excess wax with a cotton cloth. After 30 minutes and before 24 hours, buff your piece with a clean cloth or buffing brush to create a soft glow. Clear Finish Sealers: Old Town Paints Clear Finishes are a crystal clear, fast drying, durable protective topcoat. We recommend using one of our Clear Finishes on projects that will be "high traffic" areas or have exposure to water. Our Clear Finishes are specifically formulated with a UV protectant that works great for your outside projects and won't yellow over time. Old Town Paints Clear Finishes have low odor and clean up easily with soap & water. When you are ready to seal your project, stir your clear finish well before applying. Test in an inconspicuous area to ensure desired results. Be sure that your surface is dry and free of dust. If applying several coats, allow at least thirty minutes drying time between coats. Lightly sand with a fine grit sandpaper between coats. Your project will be ready for use in eight hours after the last application dependent upon temperature and humidity.
