Selk'Bag Original 5G Wearable Sleeping Bag with Arms and Legs

Have just come back from a 5 day trip in my unheated campervan and despite temperatures dropping below freezing I kept comfortably warm. Just added a hot water bottle a couple of times for extra comfort.

I bought this for my son for Christmas - very warm and well made - I want one! But the size L are always out of stock...

I bought this to wear inside my sometimes chilly house. Yes, it does look most eccentric, but this amazing invention is perfect for people who feel the cold really badly.

Just great for camping or lolling around the house watching Strictly. The only thing that’s off the mark is the sizing - M is so large & long it’s impossible to walk in without tripping up & bellows extra material that gets in the way, but is roomy to sleep in if you’re likely to feel claustrophobic. You can bring your arms out of the sleeves & into the suit.S is a much better general fit. It doesn’t feel restricted & is more cosy. I can walk around easily & the arms end at my hands rather than a foot further. BUT...it’s just too short, finishing 5” above my ankles. I expected this from the size guide, but being vertically challenged & having lived a life of turn ups, it’s surprising. Just a tiny bit longer & it would have been perfect.So no boots & my lower legs/feet don’t get to enjoy the insulation but it’s a better option to wear overall.It depends what you use this for. If it’s just sleeping then go larger as it will probably be more comfortable, but if you’d like something more fitted you’ll be moving around in, the smaller option may be better, with warm socks in place of the boots. Bear in mind your build will affect fit - I’m 5’2” and size 8/10.A lovely warm suit either way, with a handy kangaroo pocket outside & small phone pocket inside the front flap.

Medium is an exact, snug fit for 5' 5" male with 38" waist.

I went with what other reviewers were saying, and ordered XL as I’m 5 foot 10. Huge mistake! Could fit three of me into it! Had to send back and ordered large. Still very roomy but does fit. Go with your normal size unless you’re fat. If it’s purely for the height, go with your regular size.Expected, for the money, a lot more insulation. Wanted a padded cosy cocoon. Instead, it’s simply a walk around sleeping bag BUT it’s perfect for my needs as wanted it for indoors. I honestly would not expect it to be warm enough to wear outdoors. The zips on the front bib could have been a lot hardier; mine stick every time and have already started to tear the inner fabric.On the whole, it’s ok, but for the money I’d have expected better insulation and thick practical zips. Great for lounging in, but not practical if wanting to be more active in it.

I get very cold when camping and so like to use 2 sleeping bags but this seems marvellous. Going to get the medium size as I'm a plump 5ft.Update: got the selk bag, absolutely wonderful. I wear it camping and sleep in it with an oval sleeping bag. Snug as a bug. I have started wearing it in the house. Yes the lining isn't very nice, feels like cheap polyester. I wear base layers with it anyway. Highly recommended.

Das Teil ist einfach genial. Reinschlüpfen und wohlfühlen. Ich bin 167cm groß und konnte mich nicht so recht entscheiden wegen der Größe. Ich habe mich letztendlich dann für Gr. L entschieden, da ich mit den Schlafsack nicht wandern will, sondern eben zum schlafen brauche. Mit der Größe L war ich richtig gelegen. Urgemütlich und weit und lang genug. Draußen konnte ich ihn noch nicht testen, aber ich bin mir sicher, dass er prima warm hält und bequem ist. Auf jeden Fall 5 Sterne. Auch für die Verarbeitung. Wirklich gute Ware. Ich kann ihn "wärmstens" empfehlen.

AWESOME PRODUCT, love it, the original G5 is VERY WARM, quality construction.SIZINGI agree with many of the reviews I read before I bought it and I'm very glad I did. The sizing chart is wrong. If you are in the middle or top 1\2 of the size, GET THE BIGGER SIZE, or sleeping will not be very comfortable. I'm 5' 9" 190lbs, average torso and a 31" inseam. According to the size chart I should be a Large, on the advise of other reviewers, I ordered the XL, VERY GLAD I DID. the XL fits perfectly for walking and still has room to move and be comfortable for sleeping, esp if your a side sleeper and like to curl up. Based on the cut and fit, if I had ordered the Large, it would ride up in the crotch when walking and be too tight for sleeping.
