UPDATE: Ran several flash driver checker programs and as suspected, only the first 32GB of the drive are actually usable. Anything beyond that just comes back full of zeros. What a scam!!Seemed like a really great deal but things quickly turned sour. Got the new drive in. The drive itself is sleek and substantial looking and feeling. So much so, that I immediately re-ordered since it looked so good.Put the flash drive in and was happy to see about 1 TB reported as available - so far, so good.Started copying files over. Soon noticed that some - not all - files were corrupted. The drive came formatted as exFAT. Reformatted flash drive to NTFS and tried again. Same issue. After multiple reformats (even using DiskPart) I tried copying files over in small lots. Everything worked fine up until I got 32 GB of files copied over. After that, copying even just one file would appear to work (even used HxD editor to verify at a binary level that the file had content on the flash drive) but when the drive was ejected and then plugged back in, the file that previously worked and showed valid content was now all 0's (as verified by the HxD editor again).I am now running a flash drive test to see if it can determine the actual size of the flash drive.Sadly, I believe this is actually only a 32 GB flash drive disguised as a 1 TB drive.If the deal looks too good to be true, then it probably is not a good deal.Second drive is going immediately back to Amazon as soon as it is delivered.

I bought the 1TB / 1000GB stick but the stick I received was 32GB. I understand there is always some variation in the actual capacity versus what's advertised but they missed by 986GB's. Hard to call that a "minor variance". Returning it.

This drive is completely useless. It had errors right out of the box. Every time I plugged it in Windows would detect errors and want to scan and fix. Reformatting did not help. Copying data I received hundreds of "please insert the next disk in the multi disk volume set" Data that did write was so unbelievably slow and then was not readable.Save your money and time and don't buy this. It is total junk.

This item was received in rapid order as is normal for Amazon. However, the good news stops there. I plugged it in and began copying my C: drive to the flash drive. It quit after ten minutes of copying and after twenty minutes locked up my computer. What a piece of trash. Sure wish I had heeded the warnings from other reviewers. Do not purchase this product.

Wow! I guess the saying " you get what you pay for" is 100% true. Especially since this thumbdrive has 10,000,000GB's written on the side of the thumb drive. It constantly throws out error messages and it is not reliable at all. The read and write speed are well below par and I didn't think that something like this cheap poc could be such a headache. I tried to save some money but what I got was a poc. It works, it'll allow you to store files on it but if you want to backup your harddrive I would suggest you get a Seagate external harddrive. If it wasn't bc it's CV right now, I would return this stupid thing. I've tried multiple time to repair the thumb drive but it never works and it'll say it's scanning for hours/days and nothing will happen. Do NOT buy this if you want to back up some important items. I wanted to use this to store my iCloud Photos from my iPhone 11Pro but I just don't trust it. I am currently having all my iCloud photo backup to my Samsung 256 SD card on my MS Surface Pro 2017 but I have over 10,000 photo's and videos so the 256GB's space is running out and I don't want to delete those photos just in case. I tried to change my setting so that it goes directly to my this thumb drive but it is slow as molasses and I just can't rely on it. I am using a MS Surface Dock and I plug it in everyday when I get home and I unplug it when I leave in the mornings. I don't have time to wait for the darn thing to "eject" so I just pull the connector out and when I come back, the files that were on the thumb drive are "damaged" it never happened to my SD Card and I didn't have to "eject" it every time I needed to change SD cards so I know it's not the computer. I would not recommend this thumb drive if you have important information to store bc this drive will corrupt easily and is NOT user friendly at all. I had to format the drive to my MS Surface Pro 2017 before it could be recognized by my computer. It's sad bc I really wanted this thumb drive to be a good solution to my problems. If it were not a knock off brand then perhaps it'll work better but I chose to save a little bit of money and now it's become an inconvenience. Like I said, I wanted this device to work and I wanted to be able to give it 5 stars but who can when the drive doesn't do what's it's intended? It's as if someone use a 3D printer and Printed all the parts of this drive and perhaps that's why it's not working as it should or maybe it's just me.

After several tries plugging in, my laptop recognized it and I began to move files to it, about 500 megs total. These were a lot of individual files, small sizes each. The second time I used it, it stopped working completely. Again, after several tries, plugging, unplugging, it was recognized for a few minutes and I started to copy files to it and the memory capacity showed "zero", even though I'd only copied less then 100 megs that time. It froze and I was unable to eject using the drive designation on the laptop. I had to unplug it manually. After refreshing and trying to plug it in again it stopped being recognized and isn't recognized or read by 3 different latops/computers. It's "dead".I have read since that this brand is often sold as high capacity but isn't. Now I have files I can't get to. I'm in the process of getting the drive looked at locally and will update this record or add to it when I know the outcome.
