No longer worry about battery rundown before evening viewing is done
The battery in the Sennheiser Flex 5000 is tricky to replace. First you need to remove the battery cover by pushing down inside the slot on the cover. Then you need to unplug the battery but the trickiest part is plugging the new battery in. The instructions I got from Sennheiser customer service emphasized using plastic tools for this but I didn't have any suitable so I just used a small bladed screw driver. This did not seem to cause a problem. Tweezers would probably have made it easier.

First one lasted 6 months, second lasted 3 months, Sennheiser original lasted 4 years
Disappointed that it only lasted 6 months with normal use.Update: MFP refunded my money and I bought a second one from MPF to replace the the first and it only lasted 3 months.Update: MFP stands behind their warranty and sent me a replacement for the second battery at no cost.

Battery replacement for the Surflink 100 battery
Fits inside the SurfLink 100 cases. Remove screws on the back label and open the case. Quick replacement. Wish it was 900amp. Holds the charge.

Maybe a bad one
This item fit perfectly into what I needed, only problem is that it does not hold a charge.
