Preparation of Financial Statements & Compilation Engagements Paperback – October 2, 2015

If you're an accountant dealing with SSARS 21 in 2016, BUY THIS BOOK. I've spent hundreds of dollars on other sources that are too complicated to deal with and they really don't clearly explain the 'preparation' portion as much as the compiled/reviewed updates. This book has both 'preparation' and 'compiled' in ENGLISH with good examples. This book will guide you where others just bury you.

This is the best resource that I have found concerning the implementation of SSARS 21 for Preparation and Compilation. If you are concerned about this (and you should be) this is indispensable. It discusses the new preparation and compilation standards plus contains examples of engagement letters and financials for both. This is worth many times the price.

I have been a CPA for 30+ years and I found this book to be very helpful for understanding the new standards. Buy this if you just need a "plain English" explanation of the new rules.

This book is a really great explanation of SSARS 21. Very easy to understand with good examples. A great resource for implementing the new standard & training staff.

This book is wonderfully written and easy to follow. Everything is at your fingertips you need to know for the new standards under SSARS 21. Sample engagement letters, opinions, and disclosures are all discussed and presented in an easy to follow and understand format. I highly recommend it as a reference manual.
