Found this to be a good solution for a Fossett in a rental where we could not change the Fossett, but wanted to have a wider range to clean the dishes have had to replace our first one after a few years, but overall they work very well

Like I should have... I bought the cheapest version of this device, still convinced the model is identically mass-produced, so I could learn the joke, and I certainly did. I can't believe so many other people are extolling the necessity of this particular unit, but they are, so beware. This standard-size budget-minded Chinese sink sprayer simply doesn't fit a standard-size budget-minded Chinese faucet -- which you likely have. The problem is that the attachment is molded plastic, not machined metal, so the random variance of "x microns" in actual size is enough to cause slipping, miss-threading, leaking, popping-off, or all of the above. The washers and adapters are of no help here, further non-surprising, I suppose. The solution is apparently giving the customer two for the price of one, hoping for an occasional proper fit. Unfortunately, I can't wash dishes with hope and neither can you. I don't blame the seller or anyone else but myself, and continue to purchase merchandise manufactered in China -- with caution. The description of these units on most selling pages lists "metal" as the first ingredient -- which in the US often legally means something -- but here simply means there is less chance of the potential customer thoughtfully reading the word "plastic" before purchasing. As long as you have a tall faucet these things are great. It’s much easier to rinse out the sink or whatever you’re washing. As is usual in product reviews there are people complaining that these are plastic (gasp!). Yep, so what? They’re cheap and work well. I’ve got them on two sinks and love them. The package includes several thread adapters but for my sinks all I needed to do was screw off the existing aerator and screwed on this device.
