The Easy and Relaxing Memory Activity Book for Adults: Includes Relaxing Memory Activities, Easy Puzzles, Brain Games and More

It has been a joy to work through this book with my aunt and other residents in her Memory Care unit. Some of them can read instructions and others need quite a bit of assistance, but they (along with me) enjoy all the puzzles, games and prompting of memories.

Great for keeping the mind active

If you are looking for easy, then consider this a 5 star rating. It was fun to do, but not very challenging. I finished the whole book in two days. Lots of variety of activities but none were challenging.

My mom is stuck in a rehab facility because she hurt her knee and absolutely loves this activity book! She's very much with it and feels this book helps challenge her and entertain her as she heals.

Very stimulating & reasonable for “senior citizens”. I am a medical professional & recommend this publication for my patients.

Some of the pages were to dark.

I was in a rehab facility for a month due to having pnemonia and having to get stronger in order to be able to go home. After a while tV and the radio is boring. Same for reading. I was so glad when i recieved this because not only was it fun, it made me use my brain unlike I feel like i had in a while. There were all different kind of puzzles to do, fiinding what the difference was from one picture compared to another, also math puzzles, trying to pick out the correct answer to questions that involved you counting and keeping the people straight, also other puzzles that you don’t see in any of the puzzles books now a days. I used to love getting these as a kid in school to do during qquiet time. But now they are geared towards adults and were much more fun. I will buy another verion of this when this publisher comes out with another. Maybe even buy one for my best friend who lives in another state.

Purchased this for my 80 year old dad who has mild cognitive impairment and was very impressed by the content and his reception of it. He was excited to do the puzzles and did not feel it looked too hard or too easy or embarrassing. I had tried coming up with activities on my own for him to help with recall, language, and writing skills but with this work book there is no need. As someone who cares for older adults I recommend this as a good option for adults with age-related cognitive decline, mild cognitive impairment from various causes, and/or early dementia of various types. For (older) adults with “normal” cognition you will likely find this “easy,” which is not necessarily a bad thing but some reviewers seemed to think it was. Hopefully this review will be helpful for people to make a purchase based on their needs, which are going to vary. That is what is wonderful about Amazon- there is almost something for everyone!
