Overall a zero star one for the price really!Two the lids suck as you can see by the picture only 3 jars worked correctly the other 21 garbage reason being, I canned 24 jars of tuna 2 of lids on the jars the blew off the rest never sealed but you don’t know all of this until you wait two plus hours you think you do it right but after pressurized and cool down and the lids don’t pop cus the gasket went into the threads as you tighten down the lid don’t know this until you don’t get a pop, never again I will use ball or Kerr lids and rings buyer be warned

So lives are different than your normal mason jar lid. this had me a little bit worried but I forged ahead as they were the jars I had. I went through the process of preparing my jars. I made sure that the top of the jars were clean so that I could get a good seal. I process them and my water canner according to directions just like I always do when I'm canning jelly. It's not unusual per se to have maybe a jar not seal so I can't say I've ever had it happen I can't say I've never had it happen either for sure. I can say this is the first time I've had five out of 12 not seal.

I, like many people, have taken up sourdough bread making which I am becoming a master bread maker according to my family and friends. It's all about the starter! So guess what I'm using the jars for, you got it, sourdough starter! These are perfect for those of us who are making about a loaf every two days. Also, now that I'm starting to give away starter to my family and friends (since it's such a good one) who want to try making bread, I send these jars home with them containing the gift of starter inside. Really good product!!!

I bought these for use incubating individual portions of yogurt. They were less expensive than the “famous” brand and they work even better for this particular need. The lids are a strong point. The material that seals the top is pliable enough to create a watertight seal without tightening too hard. They also go through the dishwasher without rusting. Overall they are a good value and a solid product.

Sending these back. Not comparable to Ball canning jars. Thin glass & questionable if the jars are truly suited for canning. I was not willing to take a chance.

The jars are fine but don’t use the lids that come with them! I canned a big batch of sweet corn and only a third of the jars sealed! The lids are garbage. If you buy these jars you need to buy a package of lids to replace the ones that come with these jars. I’ve been pressure canning for decades and I’ve never had so many jars NOT seal.

I needed to find some additional mason jars that could be used for a large canning job. I just didn't have enough. I could not find any in stock out or local stores (apparently people learned how to can during Covid!), so I resorted to ordering them from Amazon. The product came quickly as promised and worked for what I needed, however the lids on these jars are one solid piece - no bands or lids separate. So once used, the entire lid is tossed out. Which translates to not only having to purchase new lids next time I use them, but also new bands that can be used again. Not the most cost effective idea. Also - they did not seal very well, and several jars went into the fridge to be eaten right away. If you are looking for long term storage, these lids will not serve you well!

There is a shortage of canning jars and you need to be very careful on some of the independent sites (speaking as having been suckered). These were reasonably priced plain mason jars. The lids are one lid rather than the typical lid and separate ring.

These suck. The covers all popped open and the contents were spoiled. I had to throw my preserves out. DO NOT BUY THESE

I prefer the two part lids - sometimes it's hard to tell if these kind of caps have sealed properly. Plus one of them had a little rust so I didn't trust that lid. Otherwise I was glad to have them during a shortage of canning jars in NS.

product is a jar, one jar in the pack of 12 was missing a lid. i guess if one breaks i have an extra.

I really like how the lid is one piece. Easier to keep track of.
