cuts fast seems to be very steady. I am 72 and did not have any problems using it. they tell you can't sharpen the blade, after looking at it I believe them. only disappointment, blade made in Tigh wan. Worth every pinny . I easily cut 6 inch branches.

I have found this to be very sturdy, others say its not manageable above 18ft but I'm 50 yo 180lbs, not very athletic and I can handle 4 6 ft sections no problem. Use it like a pole vault to get the saw up the just let it rest on the brach. Back up with the pole and good to go.. I mainly cut palms, take a stroke or 2 and it goes through like butter. I've been wasting my time with a fisher pole saw and that is useless compared to the jameson..

Bought with standard Jameson Pole saw and parts are interchangeable without any problem. Super Strong joints. Makes a super long (or tall) and does the job for those high limbs.

The extensions fit perfect - like they were made for each other. I tried to use a total of 4 poles. It becomes so "floppy" that it is hard to use. Still works but I either have to keep it close to vertical or deal with the deflection due to the weight of the pole.With two poles it works great. With 3 poles it is very usable but is starting get a lot of deflection. At four poles it becomes really hard to use.

Jameson is a well-established company and I have used their products for over thirty years, so I expected precisely what arrived. What more can I say, they’re extensions for the trimmer I already have. I got two, they came in a box with padding, and all is well.

I purchased this to extend my 3-pole 18-foot Jameson saw. It's definitely a challenge to assemble and use the 4-pole setup. I found the best way is to assemble only the top three poles, lean it against the tree, then slide it upwards and add the bottom pole. It gets kinda floppy and unruly as a 24-footer, so you do need to plan well
