Since the product had only two reviews when my wife bought it, I'm going to try to provide some more information.First, some good stuff. The seller is super-responsive. We needed to have one with a right-hand cord and one with a left-hand, for our two sliding doors. My wife emailed, they answered right away, and then shipped both a few days later.Another good thing. They look great when hanging up.Now, the problems.First, the attachment really sucks. You screw two brackets into the wall, then push the front part of the blinds onto the front tongue of the bracket. So far so good. Then you have to press in and down, bending the bracket enough to click-in the back part. On our two blinds, this was easy to do with one set of brackets, incredibly hard with the other. The easy-to-click bracket turned out to be shorter than the hard-to-click. So we clicked in the easy brackets, pulled on the cord, and the entire apparatus came crashing down, breaking off one of the ends of the top housing and also the end of the weight at the bottom of the shade.I emailed them about the problem, and they offered a replacement and asked me to send them pictures of the problem. Haven't sent the left shade back yet, because I'd already thrown away the box.So I went back to install the right-hand shade, which had not fallen down. Since my wife really likes the look, and the brackets are problematic, I actually build an extra left hand support to attach to a center hold in the housing and support the lousy brackets. Unfortunately, in simply trying to attach the housing to the hard-to-click brackets, I ripped the fabric.If I had fully retracted the shade before attempting to attach it, as I should have, this would not have happened, and I might have been able to make my workaround of attaching supplemental brackets of my own design to the two sides work out. As it is, I now have a second shade that needs complete replacement.So for those handier and more patient than me, here's the good news. These are quite lovely shades, with a really robust raising and lowering mechanism, sold by a responsive seller that stands behind their product. They are much, much cheaper than anything else I've seen of similar build quality.The bad news is the attachment system is pretty much useless. If that was corrected, this would be an awesome product selling literally at one-third the price of comparable shades.

Bought this item for the sliding door and it's perfect. Have always had clunky vertical blinds and am much happier with these.

If you need something different and modern this is the right choice.

Lightweight and classic appeal. Provides privacy with filtering all the sunlight. Perfect!

Terrible product...will not buy again, been through several. Company will not admit to product defect and charge a 25% restocking fee for an item they will clearly throw away, due to defect.

Company reviewShipping was super fast.Basic operation instructions would have helped since these are new and unfamiliar to most people.Product reviewKid-safe and light-weight but only time will tell if durable.This is a new type of roller shade that allows a panel of woven polyester to slide past itself creating a closed or open "blinds" look.Warning: it is not a pull down roller shade. You must operate the shade only with the cord or you will break it.Pictures one and two show the back of the blinds. The end of the panel winds around the bottom weight and is fixed to the back of the blind. It is only attached with staples. I actually ripped it when I took it out of the box. I was able to easily fix it with hot glue and tie wraps (think of how a window screen works in the frame ditch with the spline).The other durability issue is picture three. The cord mechanism is under constant tension via the screw pulling back a spring that allows the cord to move freely. I'm worried that the tension will be lost over time and I'll have to remount the cord.I love the weight. I have a very large window on my back door and the old faux wood blinds were very heavy and painful to move. These new blinds are so light and easy to move that I can position them very easily up or down the window. Also, they stay close to the door even when opening and closing. No more door slamming followed by blinds slamming.I hope they last. If they do, I would definitely buy again.

love this! Looks awesomeI was hesitated to order this since it had no review and never saw this kind of shades before. I was looking for something for my sliding doors and I wanted to try this new product. I don't usually write reviews but I loved this so I thought I will share my experience.Shipping was very fast. As far as installing, it was not hard. I had to screw mountings and I just had to simply snap in the shade and that was it. I simply followed installation guide, I didn't have to ask my husband for help. I ordered 2 shades and they were perfect fit for my sliding doors. Oh yeah, they also massaged me about cord position because pre-made ones have the cord on right side but they fixed one to the left so it's not in the way when I go through the doors. I liked the design of it and quality of the product way exceed my expectation. Now i can put down the shades and still enjoy my view! Never seen something like this before. Overall great customer service and I would definitely recommend this combi shades to my friends.
