What a great book.
I am loving this book! The recipes all look delicious, and the book is packed with valuable information about health in general. It's well organized, with different ways to use the book according to your needs. Also, I'm enjoying learning about what's in season and how to prepare it. I have a very busy schedule, and sometimes don't have time to eat as many veggies as I'd like. This is about to change. I know how important vegetables are for good health, so I plan to use this book regularly!

Disappointed
This is not what I was looking for. I hoped for a book that explained more basic methods for cooking different vegetables and some recipes for a veggie beginner. This has long recipes with tons of ingredients - most of which are over 40% fat. This will be going to the local charity.

Recipes set up like a regular cookbook
I guess I was hoping for a recipe book that was set up by vegetable or by season. I.E., the season the vegetable was harvested in. This book DOES have a good section on major vegetable types, what vitamins you can expect, and what seasonings go best with which vegetables. The recipes are good, but I can invent similar ones. It was instructional in many ways, and did contribute to my overall knowledge of vegetable types and how to identify and cook them.

Great book for good tasting recipes that include more vegetables.

a little bland and disapointing
was really looking forward to this publication but it's a little bland and dissapointing, there are better veggie cookbooks out there.I'd pass.

A Disappointment
This book does have a wide variety of recipes which might be helpful for the novice cook. For me, it was a major disapointment. I was hoping for some innovative vegetable recipes using some lesser known vegetables and ingredients---I didn't need a run of the mill recipe for potato salad for goodness sake! For example, arugula is included in the recipe list---but--WHAT no Brussel sprouts? With it being advertised as having over 100 recipes---you'd think that more interesting items would be included. Mostly run of the mill.
