ABC of Canada

This was given as a gift to a fellow Canadian for her 1 yr old bday. The pictures are nice, and letters make sense (other Canada books have strange references but thus includes Calgary Stampede, Victoria, etc.)This would probably be better for a ~3-5 year old but the board book of it makes it good for younger kids, too!

My children love this book. I purchased it when we were living overseas, to remind my girls about where we're from. The colours are vibrant and while the story is simple (each page has one line that follows Canadiana through the alphabet), it was great to read about all of the Canadian things going through the alphabet. My kids' favourite pages are C for Calgary stampede, M for maple syrup, V for Vancouver and Z for zamboni (these are examples but the line in the book is actually a full sentence descriptor). I loved this book so much, I bought it for several of our friends' children when we left, as a reminder of the Canadians they'd met overseas.

We love this book! I am Canadian and my husband is American. We currently live in Canada, but have also lived in the USA. This is a cute little book to teach my son about Canada. I've also given this to many people who have ties to Canada and are living abroad. It makes a wonderful shower gift. It's a board book and the pictures are lovely. Super cute.

I bought this book for my two year old daughter. We have other ones in this series. I really like this one....... and I think she does too. Ha ha!It's got great big color illustrations and goes through the whole alphabet with Canadian stuff. We live in the U.S., so whenever I can teach my daughter a bit about my home and half of her citizenship country, I will do it!Loved it!

Great book for toddlers! Good introduction to the ABC's, Canada and all of its culture in a very easy to read format. My older son is asking to read the "book about Canada" now too!

Good book overall and is now well used. Unfortunate that it arrived slightly bent and with a fragmented page.

This book is really cute. I was originally going to buy this while I was in Canada as a souvenir, but it was cheaper to buy on AMAZON.

I bought this for my Canadian daughter-in-law and think it fits the bill perfectly. The pictures are simple but lovely and the text is appropriate too.

Read this at my Grandson’s Kindy Class. All the kids were intrigued!
