Solid product, thin but dense panels.
I purchased 2 different sets of panels from Dekiru; 24 pack of gray, and 12 pack of black sesame color. These panels seem like advertised. The thickness seems to be true to the product description, and you can tell from the feel of the panels that they are fairly dense. I'm noticing a subtle difference in sound, it seems to be a little muffled when I stand outside. However, I think I'll need to add more panels on the door and other walls for me to truly notice a difference. One thing is that the size is not quite 12"x12". They are about 11 7/8". It didn't end up making a difference for me, but I did have to adjust my planning/calculation a little bit. They are almost exactly 30cm x 30cm though.Overall the cut is fairly precise within each color. All of the gray seems to be exact, and all of the black seems exact. There is a tiny difference between the 2 colors however, which didn't become apparent until I started placing them on the wall. I think the gray is cut slightly larger than the black, but we're talking fractions of an inch. However, the beveled design helped to cover up any small discrepancies. They come tightly wrapped in plastic, so because of that some of the edges may be slightly bent. These are very minor, and I don't think it affected the way it looks overall.I put them up using gorilla double-sided mounting tape. I only used 2 small strips for each panel, and 1 roll was more than enough for the 32 panels I mounted. The gorilla tape is a bit overkill, so I'll probably have a "fun" time eventually removing these panels.Overall it was fairly easy to install, because the cuts are pretty exact. I spent extra time measuring where to place the top row of panels; after that it was just placing them exactly underneath.

Expensive Yet Effective
I covered an entire 14' x 10' room (including the ceiling) with these things. Around 420+ tiles, so you do the math with how much that cost me (it wasn't cheap). I doubt the average consumer will be as crazy as me, but my result is a nearly pin drop quiet room (note that I've also installed a soundproof curtain over a window, as well as a door, which is out of frame in the photo). I live in an apartment complex built in the 1940s and the walls are paper thin - this has greatly increased my ability to make music without my neighbors ever realizing. I'm not cranking up to show volume or anything, but I can mix, play electric guitar, and have acoustic jams with a few people without receiving a complaint. I even went as far as buying a decibel meter, and while standing directly outside of the window (which faces a shared courtyard) and having a track playing back on the monitors, it only read around 50 db... I could only hear a faint kick/snare on the playback while outside. If you're trying to reduce echo/verb in a room, these will definitely work if you know where to put them. If you want to completely deaden a room like I have, just plan on spending about $1,500 and 10+ hours putting it all together.

Quiets my loud gamer husband - do your research on placement
My husband and I have to share a Small home office. He games and is very loud. I’ve tried various things to try to block his sound or help but this is the first thing I’ve tried that has helped. They were expensive but easy to apply and nice looking. I bought 12lb command strips and put two on each one to hang them. I’m planning on buying another set but I already noticed they have helped to dampen some of his noise. I did apply some without researching first though, and wish I had researched and then applied. There are certain techniques for applying sound dampening panels to walls if you aren’t covering the whole wall. Spacing actually can be more effective. So with one set I put some behind his monitors. On the corner next to him, and on the parallel wall. The panels look quite nice for the price and I’m pretty impressed.

Not blocking sound
The panels are lightweight, shipped quickly and well, and are not unattractive. However, I finished placing them wall-to-wall on the wall which gives to my neighbor’s bedroom and I still hear their TV, phone calls and noises. I wasn’t expecting perfection but it didn’t help at all and I feel that I misspent money. It doesn’t look awful, but not as nice as a clean wall. I am leaving them up because of all the time it took to put them up and because I don’t think I can return them. They are tricky to cut, but a boxcutter can do the trick. Without instructions, I am also not sure whether I did something wrong but it doesn’t feel like rocket science. Disappointed.

Almost 12in x 12in
Expect some variance in your measurements, they are slightly smaller than one cubic foot. Decent product for the cost overall. I enjoy the esthetic they add to the room in addition to being utilitarian.

Exactly as advertised!!!
Works exactly as advertised! If you are looking for sound proof material don't waste your money and then complain on this product. It is not sold as or intended as a sound proof tile! If you need a well balanced eq sound in your room these work great!

Aesthetic acoustics - worth every penny
Worth every penny!I used these tiles in my office for aesthetic acoustics and sound absorption. I am able to use my office for regular daily work video conferencing meetings with great acoustics and looks nice. People comment on it all the time. Also good enough to use the room for audiobook narration and voiceover work. Better sound absorption and acoustic floor than egg crate.

Better if you cover entire room
It looks good and was easy to install with double sided mounting tape. It helped absorb some sound but realistically if you don’t cover your entire room with it, you won’t hear much difference.
