I am so happy Portmerion still manufactures the Botanical designs. A lovely way to start the day with a cup of coffee in a Portmerion mug.

This is a review of all Portmeirion products and Portmeirion in general. My wife has been buying Portmeirion for 30 years. Some from stores, some when she was in England, some from Amazon. Though I wanted to give this 2-3 stars, she insisted. 1 star. The good=the pattern is beautiful. The bad=they are not made well and do not last.We have (had) 50 different Portmeirion pieces. All of them are in various stages of decay and damage. Some were made incorrectly, like the glassware, with mishappen off-center stems. All of them develop cracks and chips after less than 5 years use (see pictures). She just keeps them. I wanted to replace them with something hygenic, like Mikasa, which is an excellent value, but she likes this pattern and hates the quality. All the mugs chip and crack, develop spider cracks all over. So do the plates. So do all pieces we've ever bought. This is not really acceptable. You're buying a beautiful pattern on an inferior product. Don't think otherwise.

Like many coffee mugs, the bottoms hold a bit of water in the dishwasher. Like most other mugs, I have to mop them with a towel before emptying the dishwasher. I use them often, as I often drink soup from mugs.The handles appear a bit vulnerable, but are sturdier than they appear. The handles are too wide to hang on cup hooks and may need a bit of extra space in the cabinet.They are delightful, brighten the day,and are worth any extra care. NBS

I like to kind of mug. I had 3 before, now broken. It is very comfortable holding the mug and enjoy the coffee or tea. I also like the jasmine revolution pattern but it does not include into package.

The mailing box arrived in terrible condition. It is a miracle that only one mug was broken. It is not worth the effort to replace the entire order. I would have to ship back all the mugs and wait again for the replacement. I am afraid that the same thing will happen with the replacement order. So I am keeping the order. So I got 5 mugs for the price of 6!

The mugs are fine however they were so poorly packed that one of them is broken

Purtroppo ho dovuto rendere il reso di questo set veramente bellissimo… una delle tazze era rotta …io non compisco e continuo a chiedermi come mai non mettano delle protezioni adeguate!!! Che vero peccato!!!

Beautiful mug , silly old me thought a pack of 6 was on offer as that’s what it showed , it wasn’t it was 1 so please be aware if you are tempted ,On a more positive note though it is beautiful and I use it every day , sturdy and pretty

We collect Portmeirion Botanic Garden series and these 6 mugs arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Fantastic. However we were trying to replace a broken “Daisy” mug and this wasn’t in the set of six sent to us, but is in the online picture. No obvious way to contact seller to see if we can get this mug.
