Has an on/off switch, stable on the floor.This towel rack gets too hot and scorches our white towels. I therefore cannot recommend this.

Not so great. First
Not so great. First, during the assembly (simply use the screws provided to attach the legs), we could not get the screws to fit properly with the nuts, so the legs are kind of wobbly and loose. Not great, but not a big deal. Recently, however, after three years of use, we found out the unit won't switch off, although the light under the power button goes off. We consider this a fire hazard and intend to throw it away.It did a job while it worked. I don't see anything on Amazon in this category with good reviews, not sure what we'll do next.
