NYDJ Women's Ami Skinny Legging Denim Jeans

Love the fit of these jeans

Bought this for a my mom who wears a size 12 petite these must run a little small because we returned them to buy a 14. She really does love the pants. The length is great the fabric is great they just ran a little small.

These pants were nice quality but very tight fitting even though I purchased the size that were suggested for me and that were for my measurements. I wound up handing them down to my daughter because they fit her better. With this brand I found that all their styles to be very inconsistent with their sizes. The same size in different styles fit completely different.

I always get this size and style of NYDJ, and it's a perfect fit. I'm about 5'1" and this 12p size is something I can order based on having the same jean in other colors. Because it's a black jean, it's a bit dressier than blue denim jeans, so it's a good addition to a slacks wardrobe. The only problem is that it collects a lot of lint and pet hair, so the buyer has to have a lint roller or lint brush handy. This brand works well for me, but without the petite length, the regular sizes are usually too long.

I should have ordered the next size up. I love NYDJ, but this is the only pair of pants that I've ordered in my size where I needed the next size bigger. Other than that, the pants have the quality you would expect from NYDJ.

I got my usual jean/pant size, and it was too constricting on my abdomen. After wearing these pants for 15 minutes, I started feeling mild abdominal cramps. I can't imagine what would happen if I follow the brand's advice and buy a size down. I really like the "Rinse" dark color, and the skinny ankle fit, but I will try detaching the interior of the pockets to the sides (what makes the "lift x tuck" technology) or returning for a size up. The material itself is really stretchy, so I imagine these jeans would be quite comfortable if not for the restriction of the cloth of the pockets sewn to the sides of the jeans.On a different note, I suppose each color has a different style on the ankles. Mine, in the "rinse" color, had skinny ankles with no zipper or slit, just the raw edge.

I bought them for the first time about a year ago at Nordstrom. When I went back to get a new pair, they no longer carry them. I was saddened until dear Amazon solved the problem. They came new with tags on and all is well... if you don't count the long white dog hairs. They would have been an All-Star five if they arrived more fresh.

I like the dark denim color and I bought my size 8 petite they fit a bit snug but not uncomfortable. I agree with another review that the denim is light weight and I wouldn't wear in the cooler weather. I look forward to wearing them with a pair of sandals in the spring.
