I am absolutely floored with my results of this product! I have shoulder length, curly (3b) hair that is absolutely unmanageable most of the time without a ton of conditioning. My hair is fine although I have a lot of it, and I have a lot of breakage because I heat style my hair almost every day (flat iron, curling wand.) I am used to getting keratin treatments at the salon for $350 every 6 weeks! I absolutely cannot afford it anymore so after some research I decided to take a chance on this product.First I will say, like a lot of the reviews here, my box also came with a product leak. I couldn’t figure out which bottle the leak came from but there was cream all over the contents in the box. Even so, the bottles all seemed to be relatively full still so I decided to go ahead with the process anyway.📌Yes, the process will smell bad! (Goes away after the final wash.)📌Yes, the entire process takes a couple of hours to complete if you do it correctly. (Prepare to watch a movie or two during the process!)📌Yes, the process will strip color from your hair (I have boxed dyed jet black hair and I would say the black dye has lifted to a dark brown in many places.However, the results are silky smooth, evenly coated, manageable and tangle free keratin treated hair! I am absolutely floored at the results. I have never been able to achieve this at home, ever. The key: Don’t rush!Step 1- I washed my hair with the provided shampoo (step 1 shampoo bottle) really well in the shower, about three times until it was super sudsy and squeaky clean.Step 2- I blow dried my hair as straight as possible and applied the keratin treatment cream with a color brush. I did this very carefully with the brush they provided and gloves. I went in very small sections and made sure everything was coated. Then once coated, wait 15 minutes. (This step took me 25-30 minutes).Step 3- I blow dried my hair as straight as possible. I used a Dyson with a brush attachment. My hair at this point felt stiff/sticky/gummy.Step 4- I flat ironed my hair (410°) as straight as possible. This is the step that smelled bad. Do this with a window open as you can clearly see the chemical process of the heated product floating into the hair as your iron glides across your hair. This is also the step that lifted some color from my hair. I did this in small sections and made sure to glide the iron over my hair enough times until I saw no more product heat off into the air. My hair felt smooth, heavy and very straight. It was also very shiny.Step 5- Then I washed my hair with the step 5 shampoo in the shower and OMG- my hair felt so silky and so dreamy as I washed the product away! Just relaxed and tangle free. I washed my hair with this shampoo around 3 times until I no longer smelled the chemical smell.Step 6- Condition with the step 6 conditioner! Again, at this point my hair felt silky and clean and the texture was a night and day difference!After the process was done, instructions said to then blow dry and go about your day! So I blowdried and then flat ironed on a lower setting and I literally cannot believe how silky smooth my hair is now. It’s transformed. I will 100% be purchasing again and will 1000% recommend to anyone looking into affordable keratin treatments. Follow the instructions!!

I was honestly impressed by the PLACENTA LIFE KERATIMASK Brazilian Straightening Kit. This is my third time using it and I plan to continue buying it. I tried on my clip in extension and it work amazingg, and i found out that the part blow dry the treatment tooookkkk sooo longggg, my hand literally almost fell out of my bodyBut the result is amazingg, im buying another one for my real hair!!

I have naturally curly hair, I have some good curl structure but a good chunk of it in the back is mostly frizz. Wearing it curly takes a lot of time to keep the frizz down so I wear it straight most of the time. Getting it straight was also a challenge. I have to dry it with a dryer brush then I would have to go over it with a high heat straightener. I'd still have to touch it up a lot with the straightener because I would get frizzy pieces from humidity. You can spit next to me and my hair will frizz. LolI have been thinking about doing a straightener for a while and figured there was a diy out there somewhere. I picked this one basically because I could get it quicker than another I had picked out. You need several hours to do this so don't rush it. I took my time read the directions carefully, and even watched some YouTube videos. The first picture is after I washed it with the shampoo and dried it. The second picture is the final result. You can clearly see how frizzy it it. Drying it with the product on is also a challenge. It's like trying to dry your hair with glue in it, but I took my time and did it right. When you flat iron it it will smoke and it stinks really bad. Its kind of like a musty/wet dog smell. It's not pleasant at all.As soon as I rinsed it out I could tell my hair was much straighter. I have washed my hair twice now and every time after I get out of the shower and start Drying it is so much straighter than before. It is way faster drying it also. Now all I ha e to do is use my dryer brush and just run my flat iron over it a few places. It is softer and shiny.The down sides are it's smells, I'm hoping this goes away after a few washes, doing the process was tiring, it took several hours, and it lightened my hair. My hair is all natural, salt and pepper. It lightened the pepper to a light blonde and made the salt (white) hairs look dingy. I'm hoping my purple shampoo will help. Over all I am happy with it. I was always dredding when I had to wash and dry my hair. At least now, I know it's going to make that task easier.

Works AMAZING! But do not use if you have dyed hair! This 100% stripped My daughters black hair color out to her original copper red. It stripped the color our during the straightening heat process. And don't attempt to re-dye the hair otherwise it will remove the straightening effect :( which it would have stated that vs saying it was safe to use (we had colored My daughters hair a month prior to the keratin treatment). That's why I'm removing 2 stars since the instruction and description make it seem safe to do as long as 2 weeks has passed between treatments.

I was kind of skeptical at first when trying this product, but it worked extremely well. It kept my hair frizz free for several months. The only downside I would say is the initial smell which I expected.

I just received it and tried it on my daughter right away. Her hair is super curly, so I noticed a big difference. It straightens a lot and eliminates frizz.
