Boy, I LOVE Japanese saws!
I have three Japanese saws (they cut on the pull stroke, rather than the push stroke) and I was happy to purchase this fourth one at such a great price. I really enjoy the angled handle and the small 2 inch height of the blade. It's just right for certain woodworking or drywall tasks. The saw is sharp and the kerf (the slit made by the cut) is very narrow.

Cuts PVC like BUTTER....
Razor sharp. I have stitches to prove it. Cuts through PVC like butter with minimal pressure. Best pull saw I have ever used. Seriously - get rid of that lame hack saw....... trust me, you'll thank me I guarantee it.!

Vaughan Japanese Pull saw.
I have had one for years. A Japanese pull saw. The extra fine teeth are excellent for cutting moldings. Also the best pruning saw I have had. Clean cuts, lessens damage on tree bark. Leaves a very smooth wound. The blade seems to last forever. Excellent Japanese steel. This will be a gift for my wife's brother.Lowe's used to carry these. Glad to find the saw on Amazon. For really delicatet cuts this is hard to beat. Vaughan at their web site has a guide for really precise cuts. My next future buy.

Cuts well!
Don't like the handle as much as I thought that I would. Also without a backbone support the blade flex more than I liked. I ended up with a different Japanese pull saw which I ended up liking better.

Best tool for cutting bamboo
I found a review somewhere suggesting such a saw for trimming bamboo. It is by far the best - better than clippers or our reciprocating saw with any blade. It is easy to get into the "forest" with the saw, easy to saw, smooth and clean cut. Almost made the job fun....

Quality
This is a reorder. It's such a nice tool I wanted to make sure there is a backup handle and extra blade or two! Best for cutting limbs, great for pvc, small wood projects. Very durable, you will use it a lot.

Handy little saw
I bought this to help me with a small project replacing some baseboard and shoe molding. But it's so nice to cut with that I've used it on other projects that I would have brought out the circular saw for.
