These and Bloch's "Performas" have become my go-to technique shoes. I bought this pair as a gift for a friend of mine, and she loves them as much as I do, for all the same reasons.They're light and flexible without sacrificing fit, and if you have good feet they really show off those arches (my feet are both my best asset as a dancer and probably the whole reason I have a job, so you know I'ma show them off all I can ^-^).They also allow an excellent feel for the floor. Stretch canvas shoes vary there—I find the contract patches on Capezio's Hanami model too thick, while those of SoDanca's SD16 seem to blend seamlessly.Of note: if you find that stretch canvas shoes compress your feet more than standard canvas shoes (a complaint I've heard once or twice in discussions of stretch canvas shoes), it's very likely that you're wearing the wrong size.Sizing systems vary from brand to brand, and while my European street shoe size is reliably 39, I wear everything from 7.5 to 9.5 (11 if you include Sansha, but I don't use their technique shoes), B or C width, in ballet technique shoes depending on the manufacturer.These shoes shouldn't feel stretched at all times like strong leggings or driving gloves—they're not Spanx for your feet ^-^'The purpose of the stretch fabric is to allow them to follow the movement of the feet from flat to demi to full pointe without bunching. They don't have to fit like compression socks to do that.The lightness and flexibility of the SD16, along with its wide range of sizes, make it easy to find that perfect fit.

This is a pretty good shoe for the price. It came earlier than expected, and I got to use them for the nutcracker. It was a little tight, but that was because of me choosing the wrong size. Also, a bunch of the seams and threading came loose. If you want your shoe to last a while, this is not the shoe for you. Overall, it’s a pretty good shoe, but if you’re a pro, don’t count on it lasting long.

My daughter has been dancing since four. I have been buying these for a while. She likes them a lot.

I didn’t receive the size I ordered which is extremely frustrating.We were replacing shoes that were too small and decided to get the exact same shoes since they held up well in class and were comfortable. Now we have two pairs of shoes that are too small for my daughter and nothing to wear to dance class.

My daughter loves to dance but is hard to find shoes for. We bought these thinking they would be ok, she has fallen in love with them.

Complete rip off. I have never even heard of this brand, but the description on Amazon says they are So Danca shoes. This is a completely different brand (danshūz??????????). They are the ugliest shoes I have ever put on my feet and completely unwearable. DO NOT BUY

my daughter takes alot of Ballet. She lives this shoe over all the rest. Perfect fit to size

They fit perfectly and look lovely. Very light fabric. Easy to arch. Very confortable without the drawstrings. Size B is a great for for narrow feet. Would suit both boys and girls.

These shoes ripped after wearing only a couple of times. Should have sent them back but just mended them. Didn’t last long before they wore through on the toes too.

Ich bin Wiederholungskäuferin. Die Trägerin dieser Schläppchen aus Stoff mag das Produkt besonders gerne, da die zweigeteilte Sohle schön flexibel ist und sich dem Fuß anpasst. Mit einer derzeitigen Schuhgröße von 33 passen die Schläppchen in Größe 34,5!Preislich sind die Schläppchen kein Schnäppchen. Die Qualität ist allerdings sehr gut.

Zapatillas de muy buena calidad, tejido muy adaptable y cómodo. Recomiendo una talla más de lo habitual, calzan un poco pequeño.
