A review of the series so far as a whole:
The series is very well written. It can be hard to follow, which often forced me to backtrack several pages, however the author covered that issue by following it up with good action to provide relief. This series explains a lot that was missing from the Divine Dungeon series as well as provides great fodder for character building, something which I like to do in my spare time. It provides key information about essence, especially celestial, infernal, and corruption. The explanations of the S rank abilities, and the Tower of Ascension/Heavenly cultivation was difficult to understand fully but satisfied dozens of my questions. The MC has a wonderful origin, the perfect motivation, and the problems with his cultivation are the perfect foil for his genius intellect and incredible adaptive ability. DK keeps him "weak" for his cultivation level but makes up for it by providing him with amazing training to compliment his wonderful mind to impart to him the technique necessary to defeat opponents. Cataphron was an amazing character foil for Artorian and his defeat was perfectly laid out in such a way that Artorian didn't beat him though overwhelming abilities, but rather fought against Cataphron's overwhelming ability and only forced a draw through technique and then used the supreme power of oaths to create a path to victory. I do wish to know what s rank Dawn actually ended up as because it was never detailed in the book whether she went to s rank one, yet still kicked out the s rankers higher than her, or shot all the way to s rank three, which might be a bit ridiculous. In total, the series so far has been amazing. I love the little extra bits of plot DK adds to boost the story, like the "Chasuble" deception, as they provide succor whenever the plot seems like too much, covering the flaws in the story with expert writing. I do notice a lack of impediment of communication, I would have thought that Artorian would have encountered a culture with a language other than his own. That through all his travels he never had to learn another language seems unlikely to me, though I'm sure he would speed through it with ease.

Consistently Good
This series is great. For this entry, a few of my qualms for earlier novels have been addressed. Mainly: there isn’t any huge leaps in time inside the same chapter. The events felt fairly well connected and naturally occurring.Still have major issue with the shoehorned references. There is literally a throwaway character named “Nintendo”, only misspelled. It completely rips me from the story. Do not like. But like all books thus far: worth your time and money. On to the next!

Great Perspective
As always, this was a wonderful continuation of Artorian's series. The writing was well done, the banter comical (though less funny than usual), and the plot and action were fun and exciting. This time what really stood out were the perspective changes that happened throughout. There were times that I had to backtrack a few lines because the POV was now opposite Artorian, or who Artorian was just talking about. If not done well these can be big, glaring issues. This was not one of those times, these guys did it really well.

Freaking love Artorian
This is a series to read, bar none. The questions about cultivating that are answered make it fascinating, but the warmth and humor of the main character makes this series a treasure. So good.

Love me some Artorian!
Such a unique world! The system rocks—so detailed and this book adds in some really cool options and variations. This is par for the course with anything by Dakota, but it’s awesome to see it in this new co-authored series. Love me some Artorian!

nice to get out in the world
great book and in a dungeon building series companion novel what is the best thing you could do?see the rest of the world and see how you can mercilessly crush scores of people one after the other in under a ten count.

Another fun ride!
Very well written with lots of action suspense and magic. I love that our hero seemingly trips his enemies up using their own misconceptions in favor of those with good hearts. Wonderful sense of humor throughout. I highly recommend this series and these authors.

Well done!
These books have been a great expansion to the divine dungeon series. The battles were epic and well written. Looking forward to the conclusion while at the same time hoping for many more books.

The Old Scoundrel Is Up To His Old Tricks
The old scoundrel is at it again. Making deals, ripping those off who think they are ripping him off while gathering resources and knowledge all with the objective of making a safe place for his adopted youngsters. 2 more left to save. A bit slow in several places but worth the time. I'm looking forward to discovering how he will win the next conflict he has chosen.
