live in new hampshire riiding on 2 lane roads -paved and dirt- alot of tree cover-shade. mirror glass big and clear enoungh that i can see cars with headlights off in day time coming well over a quarter mile on straight roads. must qualify-electric bike is 26" with 2.5 inch tires running at about 17 lbs air pressure. plus if you fall or go off trail and bush wacking the hinge assembly works great- that is why this is the second and last mirror i will buy- crash and bush tested.

I have an electric bike and all the normal handlebar clamp mirror arms were not long enough to accommodate the controls without repositioning the controls so I tried the helmet mounted mirror, that one needed constant adjustment and repositioning, it was very flimsy. I tried a wrist mounted mirror that was absolute rubbish, so I tried this Busch and Muller bar end mirror and I'm pleased to say it is perfect. It is stable even on our appalling sidewalks (The roads are too dangerous to cycle on) and the ball joint seems to be robust enough to make small adjustments. I gave it four stars because strangely it is a right hand drivers side mirror and there is no left hand option. Looks a little odd but works a treat.

The ad says it's a left-hand mirror, so I ordered it. I got a right-hand mirror (hey, it ships from the UK) and then noticed that the photos are for right-hand side even though the product description is left.Good mirror -- but you need to get the one for the side you want. Mounting it upside down is lame.

I bought this mirror because it gives a wide range of rear view. It's also esthetically pleasant to look at. Not the most inexpensive rear view mirror. Well worth the price.

Be aware that this is a right-hand mirror, and (I think) it looks goofy installed upside down, on the left (where you'd want it, in the US). Not that I was able to install it, because it didn't quite fit inside my handlebars (a Gazelle Ultimate T10) - which was a bummer because I'd drilled a hole in the faux leather hand grips. I got the recommendation from a Propel video and maybe they should reconsider.

Lousy design. Ball and socket does not work. Mirror flops around if you breath on it. Totally bad design. Fixed by cutting fingers off a pair of household rubber gloves and putting 1 inch over the ball head for two fingers. then clamp it down with the screw washer and it is solid. Really poor design not expected from this company. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

Great mirror, easy to instal. Doesn’t move around on bike, reflection super clear. Easy to flip in to get through tight spaces. I have mine on an Ebike and it does great

Easy to fit slightly more difficult to adjust but did so successfully with a bit of fiddling.

Ich habe die kritischen Rezensionen für diesen Artikel gelesen und gleich von Anfang an die 3 Schrauben hinter dem Faltenbalg gelöst. In die Kugelschale habe ich einen O-Ring 5x1 oder 6x1mm eingelegt. Hinter das Halteblech habe ich noch einen weiteren größeren O-Ring gelegt und das ganze wieder zusammen gesetzt und die 3 Schrauben wieder eingeschraubt. In dieser Konstellation bin ich 740km den Elberadweg von HH nach DD gefahren und bin sehr zufrieden. Der Spiegel hat sich während der Fahrt nicht durch Schlaglöcher selbst verstellt und war dennoch flexibel einstellbar. So, wie man es sich erwünscht. Danke für die kritischen Rezensionen, so konnte ich gleich von Anfang an den Spiegel brauchbar machen ohne mich ärgern zu müssen, zumal ich diese Veränderung während der Tour mangels O-Ringe nicht hätte vornehmen können.

Ich benötige den Spiegel als für mein Stromer St1X; beim alten Spiegel war die Kugel/Halteplatte abgenutzt und der Spiegel zu locker. Das Ersatzteil ist identisch, leider auch das Kugelgelenk.ABER: Der Tipp von "brau1231" ist genial und funktioniert auch beim alten (!) Spiegel, d.h. ein O-Ring (Durchmesser 1,5cm und 2mm Stärke bzw. etwas kleiner; ich hatte gerade diese Größe zur Hand) in die Lagerschale der Kugel und ein O-Ring über die Kugel gestülpt und das ganze mit der Halteplatte verschraubt (wer möchte, kann noch die Schrauben verkleben); hält sehr gut - beim ALTEN Spiegel wohlgemerkt; den neuen werde ich behalten und vor Einsatz ebenfalls mit den O-Ringen versehen.Tipp an Fa. Der Spiegel könnte in neuem Zustand durchaus mit "gut" bewertet werden. Das Sichtfeld ist groß, er hat eine E-Zulassung und irgendwie richtig einstellen kann man ihn auch. Nach der ersten 80 Kilometer-Tour sieht man aber gar nichts mehr, denn aus dem anfangs festen Spiegel ist eine Portion Wackelpudding geworden. Erst verstellt er sich bei großen Schlaglöchern von allein, dann bei kleinen und dann reicht schließlich schon der Fahrtwind hierfür aus. Durch die starken Vibrationen erkennt man dann auch gar nicht mehr, was hinter einem passiert.Ich hatte den gleichen Spiegel schon von Werk aus am Fahrrad - mit dem gleichen Problem - und dachte, dass es wahrscheinlich an einer Berührung mit der Kellertür gelegen hat. Doch diesmal gab es keinerlei Berührung. Das Gelenk nuddelt einfach von allein sehr schnell aus und lässt sich dann leider auch nicht mehr - zum Beispiel mit einer Schraube - in den ursprünglichen Zustand versetzen.
